The Study on Analysis and Improvement of Department Web Page
Public relations in college are also the time of change. Most high school students possess smartphones, they connect to the Internet for a long time. To be interested in that target, techniques such as "buzz marketing" "viral marketing" are effective. Using Google Analytics, we grasped user characteristics. User acquisition with direct channel is going well, and even for other channels, securing users is essential. Making good use of SNS, we will provide more appropriate information for the target and improve the quality as public relations.departmental bulletin pape
Claude McKay and Harlem : Hybrid Aspects of the Harlem Renaissance in Home to Harlem (創立70周年記念特集号)
This paper discusses Claude McKay’s first novel, Home to Harlem. McKay was born in Jamaica and moved to the U.S. where he later became one of the representative writers of the American Harlem Renaissance. Although McKay’s works are often nationalized in the American context, this paper claims that McKay acknowledges the hybrid aspects of Harlem, New York. This paper also reveals the Caribbean intellectual contributions to the Harlem Renaissance, and the complicated relationships between African-Americans and Caribbean nationals in the 1920s. It concludes that this early African-American artistic movement cannot be adequately assessed within a single national framework.departmental bulletin pape
Shrinkage Rate Prediction by Textile Three Dimensional Modeling
Using a technique of the three-dimensional modeling, a method to predict a shrinkage rate of the fabric from a shrinkage rate of the yarn was considered. The predictive method calculates the length of the yarn from a three-dimensional model of the fabric and finds a shrinkage rate of the fabric by the Newton method. It enabled the fabric shrinkage rate prediction software that it developed to predict a shrinkage rate of the fabric from a shrinkage rate of the yarn..departmental bulletin pape
Effects of alkali treatment conditions on the surface hydrophobidty of four regenerated cellulose fibers
We have investigated the effects of alkali treatment conditions on the surface hydrophobicity of four regenerated cellulose fibers (Cupra, Rayon, Polynosic, Tencel). Alkali treatment of the regenerated cellulose fibers were dipping treatment with sodium hydroxide aqueous solution and sodium carbonate aqueous solution. As a result, we obtained the following findings. 1) All samples treated with sodium hydroxide aqueous solution shrank in aqueous solution concentration of 2% or more. On the other hand, they treated with sodium carbonate aqueous solution didn't shrink in any concentration. 2) Samples subjected to hydrophobic treatment after sodium carbonate treatment also had sufficiently hydrophobic. 3) Samples which were treated with sodium carbonate solution of pH 10 and pH 11 and then subjected to hydrophobic treatment differed in hydrophobicity depending on the type of regenerated cellulose.departmental bulletin pape
"KODOMO-no"MORI", Mural painting of the pediatric ward at Gifu Municipal Hospital
In recent medical services, attempts have been made to improve security and comfort in consideration of the psychological aspect of patients and families. "Hospital art" which arrange art in the medical space is one of its typical activities. Engaging in the design of these activities is very meaningful. Since 2015, we have been working on "KODOMO-no-MORI" Project with Gifu Municipal Hospital. In that project, we produced mural paintings in the pediatric ward. In this paper, we report on the background and deliverables of the project. And we consider social and educational significance of this project.departmental bulletin pape
