    The development of artificial intelligence-based systems, particularly the field of computer vision more specifically the detection of objects always involves a process of training and testing. The quality of the object detection greatly influenced the training process object detection. Viola-Jones method is often used in object detection process where this method requires a classifier file obtained from the training process. This research is used to determine the trend of the number of the training process on the quality of bottle caps object detection fanta, sprite, Frestea, coca-cola and soda. Tendency obtained can be linear or exponential graph. the result of the research detection a bottle cap, happened saturation amount of test data so that a larger number no longer affect the quality of detection the bottle caps and the relationship between the number of files of positive file and negative file affect the accuracy in detecting an object

    Website adalah sebuah cara untuk menampilkan diri di Internet. Dapat diibaratkan Website adalah sebuah tempat di Internet, siapa saja di dunia ini dapat mengunjunginya, kapan saja seseorang dapat mengetahui tentang diri orang lain, memberi pertanyaan pada seseorang, serta memberikan masukkan atau bahkan mengetahui dan membeli suatu produk. Desain website yang baik dapat diperoleh melalui user interface dan user experience. Suatu desain website yang baik akan membuat pengunjung ingin berlama-lama pada situs web tersebut. Tetapi sebaliknya, sebuah desain website yang buruk membuat pengunjung dapat pergi meninggalkan situs web tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah menerapkan metoda pengurutan  quicksort  untuk mengolah data website di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Adisutjipto (STTA) Yogyakarta dari sudut pandang user interface dan user experience yang merupakan bagian dari Human Computer Interaction (HCI). guna dilakukan evaluasi  dan  menindalanjuti  pembenahan  website STTA agar lebih baik lagi dalam memenuhi harapan pengguna/pengunjung. Hasil penerapan  metoda pengurutan quicksort ini juga untuk membanding hasil pengurutan data-data variabel  pada pertanyaan kuisioner dengan penelitian penulis sebelumnya

    The intersection of Kentungan is one of the intersections that connects North Ringroad Road and Kaliurang Street which looks increasingly stuck in Yogyakarta. This is due to an uneven increase in vehicle vehicles to road infrastructure. The peak of traffic jam at Intersection of Junction often occurs at 16.00-17.30 WIB. The problem at this junction is the amount of time delay and the length of the queue. One way to reduce congestion problems at the Intersection is to construct road infrastructure, one underpass. Based on these problems, research on the effect of underpass application on congestion parameters at several other intersections adjacent to the intersection of Kentungan. This research is a Multi Channel Multi Phase model configuration, by creating an underpass model of the Autodesk Infraworks 360 software. Before modeling underpass conditions, it is done in advance of the existing model of Intersection of Kentungan. The data inputted to this existing model is the total data of vehicles crossing the intersection of Kentungan for one hour. Verification model in this research is done by visual testing and check the duration of green light at the time of simulation done. Validation in this research is done by using hypothesis test, paired t-test. Then the parameters for validation are data ie the average waiting time of the vehicle, the maximum queue length and the number of vehicles passing through the green light in one cycle.In this study using two scenarios, in scenario 1 is the underpass model with the condition of the intersection and the scenario 2 is the underpass model with the roundabout condition. The results obtained from both scenarios are compared with the existing model results. The compared parameters are the average vehicle delay time and maximum queue length on each approach. It is expected from the comparison analysis to show that the Kentungan Intersection after the built underpass has decreased significantly on the average delay time and maximum queue length

    Electricity is one of the most elements needed in the life for any activities and productivities. In the other side, no electricity is the classically problem occurred for the any remote areas caused by no electricity supply by the agent of government. We are required to overcome the problem based on laverage of the existing resource, such as water, geothermal, wind, solar, etc. A small system use the waterflow in order to generate an electrical system known as microhydro has been developed for remote area in District Wonosobo Central Java. There are a waterways or water channel as a result of the dam of Galuh River. Flow of clean water condition has a constant throughout the year. Drains and location of research has a height difference of 6 m therefore has potential enough power to drive a turbine through an 25 cm diameter of a pipe used for the water input. The microhydro system has been developed with maximal capacity of 3000 kW. Electricity produced has been used for street lighting and any small enterprises, i.e. fish pond, chicken farm, and mushroom cultivation. This area was previously not affordable, now by this electricity become bright and productive

    Nature has been a great inspiration for engineering design. Flying insect, in specific, has been studied and being an inspiration in the development of flapping-wing micro aerial vehicle (FW-MAV). Each species of flying insect has its own wing kinematics, but most all of them generate the aerodynamic force with the same of three mechanism: delayed stall, rotational circulation and wake capture[1]. In this research, we conduct a parametric study on the FW-MAV with different wing shapes. There are two designs of the FW-MAV in this study, which have flapping angle of 80 and 120 deg. The three different shapes of wings are mimics from: desert locust, Monarch butterfly and rhinoceros beetle. The wings then attached to the FW-MAV and operated with voltage input of 1.5V. The force generated by the FW-MAV and the electrical current measured in a swing test, while recorded in 240 fps using action camera. From the test, we get the flapping frequency, generated horizontal force and power consumption. From this research we have several data that can be used for the further development of the FW-MAV

    This study is a preliminary survey of a main study on anthropometry of ear. This study was done since the availability of ear anthropometry for Indonesian population was very limited. On the other, the availability of the ear anthropometry is very important. The current study aims to collect anthropometric data that are possible to consider in designing ear-related products. Thirty subjects aged in the range of 18-20 years old were involved in the measurement. Three dimensions of the outer ear, namely: ear hole length, ear connection length, and pinna length were measured. Result of this study shows an initial description of the outer ear dimensions that is useful in designing ear-related products, especially for Indonesian young adults

    Simulasi numeric aliran fluida tak mampat dilakukan menggunakan metode beda hingga. Persamaan atur yang digunakan terdiri dari persamaan kontinyuitas dan persamaan momentum untuk aliran tak tunak dan fluida tak mampat. Persamaan atur didiskretisasi menggunakan metode beda hingga implicit pada grid staggered. Diskritisasi turunan waktu didekati dengan metode Euler dan turunan ruang didekati dengan metode beda hinggga. Prosedur penyelesaian persamaan atur menggunakan skema pressure correction. Perbandingan hasil perhitungan nilai kecepatan u pada x=0.5 dengan hasil perhitungan dari literature menunjukkan kesesuaian yang baik.Metode beda hingga pada grid staggered mampu menyelesaikan persoalan aliran fluida tak mampat sampai dengan bilangan Rey= 104.Kata kunci: metode beda hingga, grid staggered, pressure correction

    The increase of transportation need affects an increase in the need for fuel oil. The high fuel consumption can be controlled by refining the combustion process in the combustion chamber, one of them is by heating up the fuel. It could be one way to save fuel. The tests conducted on the Yamaha Jupiter MX assemblied in 2011 on the power, torque and fuel consumption by heating and without heating the fuel. Thevariations of engine speed used were 5000 rpm, 6000 rpm, 7000 rpm and 8000 rpm. The results indicated that the fuel heating through helical coil heat exchangers with oil fluid could increase the average power (7.03%) and the average torque (5.83%) at 6000 rpm - 8000 rpm and decrease the average spesific fuel consumption (17.13%) at 6000 rpm - 8000 rp

    In recent years, turbine use or pump operation as a turbine (PAT) has become an ongoing alternative to managing Water Distribution Networks (WDNs) in microhydro power generation units. Commercial pumps available on the market have a variety of shapes and models. Generally, pump manufacturers do not provide their pump characteristics curves that work as turbines. This paper presents a theoretical study on the efficiency of pump operation used as turbine (Pump as Turbine). Based on the results of the study, PAT efficiency increases with the specific speed (Nsp) and with special impeller will increase efficiency by 93% 8.07% and 5.45% and efficiency also increased by modifying the thickness of the pump blade
