The overshoot value decrease to 73.881% - 89.069% and settling time is 57.81% - 67.01% to the rotor speed deviation
Use of Lipat Algorithm on Android to Secure Data Communication in Social Media
Cryptography is one of science that learn about securing a message. Message security is done by randomizing the message (encryption) and returned to it’s original form (description). In this study, the designer of the system first and build an application to secure the message by using the Lipat Algorithm method that aims to secure messages consisting of letters, numbers, or symbols. Applications are designed and built running on Mobile Android. The Lipat Algorithm Method applies a fourfold system in the encryption process and the description of the message to be encrypted and in the description will advance 4 (four) characters forward or backward. Based on testing done the application managed to perform the encryption process and description correctly, ranging from short messages to messages as much as 2305 characters
Parallel Processing for Vertex Triple Number Search Processes in Not Different Graph Using Shared Memory Models
Parallel processing is an effective strategy for describing large problems in smaller problems, in which computing techniques use two or more computers to perform a task simultaneously by optimizing the resources of existing computer systems. This study uses parallel processing techniques, in which the object of the search is the process of finding the number of triple vertices not represented in the graph. The parallel worker process then divides the workload into each process and distributes it to other threads in the system to solve a problem. The model used in parallel processing is shared memory. This model optimizes the performance of threads on the processor. The experiments carried out make it possible to conclude that the processing speed of a parallel system is influenced by the number of processes and the number of vertices. On a single computer, the larger the process, the shorter the process. The same with the increase in the number of vertices resulting in a longer time
The Ergonomic Analysis of the Airline Passengers Message Service to Improve the Flight Safety
A message/complaint service is a very strategic facility for all stakeholders of an industrial organization. The ergonomic message/ complaint service in the aviation industry is an ergonomics approach based on a standard service system provided by an airline which iseasily accessed/ used and the given response is according to the airline passenger expectations. This research was started by observing the message service/ complaint facilities in the aviation industry (airline) and then the function was analyzed and the improvement to service system facilities was proposed so that it was convenient for the users. The results of the study concluded that there were already message / complaint service facilities in the aviation industry (Airline) but they are not ergonomic and optimal to improve the flight safety, so it is necessary to integrate the message / complaint service system with the safety services to empower the State Safety Program (SSP) according to recommendations of ICAO annex 13, Aircraft accidents and Incident investigations, to improve the flight safety performance
Oyster Mushroom’s Greenhouse Remote Monitoring System Based on Raspberry PI
In the agricultural sector there are many mushroom farmers who do manual cultivation. Environmental factors that influence the growth of oyster mushrooms include temperature and humidity. This system was made to maintain the stability of temperature and humidity in oyster mushrooms’ greenhouse remotely. Communication of remote data exchange between Raspberry-Pi and Zelio using TCP/IP networks was successfully carried out. The system managed to run the features in the setting menu which is able to set the temperature and humidity set point values, set the on/off condition of the actuators, display the local system set point and set the on/off condition of the enable button in the GUI. Temperature and humidity values, and actuator status can displayed in monitoring menu. In the logging menu, the data was saved in csv format. Automatic file naming based on date was successfully done, the csv file was successfully opened and displayed in graphical plot
Analysis Numerical Discontinuity of Thin Walled Tube Subjected Low Velocity Impact
Accident of some countries that have high gross domestic product (GDP) significantly increasing[1]. This event cause fatal for passengers especially if there an accident on the front vehicle[3]. Therefore, the main aspects of car design are very important, one of them is crash box. Crash boxes are designed to absorb impact energy due to collisions through progressive buckling. In the crushing box design, the tube can be given continuity in the form of a circular hole that has been carried out by previous researchers which provides a deceleration at the safety level on passenger body. In this study a numerical analysis conducted using tube with ellipse discontinuity by varying the ratio of ellipse hole in the crushing box to D/b ratio 0.0, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5. The results of this study found that the tube with D/b 0.0 has the highest peak force than the other ratio
I2C Sensors System for PLC Using Microcontroller
In general, PLCs has digital inputs and outputs system. The PLC additional system for analog input on the PLC is limited to sensor output in the form of a voltage of 1-5V (or 4mA to 20mA current). The development of I2C-based sensor technology is not suitable for PLCs. In this research, an I2C-based sensors system was designed and made that can be connected to the PLC. Data from the I2C sensor is sent to the DM memory in the PLC via RS232 serial communication. The sensor used was an LDR as a light sensor and a BMP180 sensor to measure atmospheric pressure and room temperature. From the experiment, the results of the LDR sensor were 100% successful and the data transmission from the BMP180 sensor was well recognized in the PL
Analysis of the Effect of Linear and Non Linear Loads on the Effectiveness of Single Phase Transformers
Lately, PLN as the state electricity company that supplmost of the electricity needs in Indonesia is being hit by a "trial" which is in a row with the burning of several Interbus Transformers (IBT) in several regions. This can be caused by the rupture of the bushing so that it triggers a short circuit and results in the burning of the transformer. However, so far the investigation of other causes has been minimal as well as the effect of the load which is primarily a nonlinear load. Electricity is a device / device that can function if it is electrified. The device / tool is used to convert electrical energy into other energy such as motion, heat, light and so on. Electricity load consists of linear load and non linear load. changes in the use of linear loads to non-linear loads, among others, from incandescent lamps to TL lamps, and many non-linear loads that are widely used such as the use of induction motors (motors used in water pumps, refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.), rectifiers, static power converter (rectifiers and or inverters), electronic ballasts cause harmonics. Harmonics are sinusoidal waves with frequencies which are round multiples of the fundamental frequency. Harmonics can affect the work function of the transformer, which causes more heating to the iron core, which causes an increase in loss. In this study, the losses will be tested if the load is linear and also if it is loaded with non-linear loads. The results showed that for small loads, the response of the two loads showed almost the same current. While for moderate loads there is a difference that has not been so large, and for large loads large currents indicated there are large differences. So that the copper losses and iron losses are greater when the load is large. Given copper losses there is a current flowing in the transformer winding and the presence of resistance in the winding (I2R1 + I2R2). so that the increase in load current will increase copper losses. So thereby increasing copper losses causes a decrease in transformer efficiency
Monitoring Departure to Schools in Basic School Students Using Arduino Based on Android
Student departure monitoring is an Android-based app used to monitor student departure to school. This system runs on parent smartphones so parents can see the existence of students and the app will give a message if the student out of the route path that has been set. Arduino used is arduino uno nano type. Arduino programmed using C language, to monitor the existence of students also required some components such as GSM Module and GPS Module. In testing the user application can monitor the existence of the students through the mobile phone that has been installed the application, before monitoring the departure of parents students are required to enter data coordinates home, coordinate data route and data coordinates of schools entered manually. To get the coordinate data the parent can take it through google Maps. To avoid failure in the use of remote control applications should use Android smartphone version 4.1 Jelly bean to version 6.0 Marshmallow. In the experiments this application can run smoothly with the Android version 4.1 to Android version 6.0 and the results of the questionnaire given to the 30 respondents with 9 questions 75.77% results obtained using Likert-scale calculations, which results obtained a good assessment interval
