Identifying Project Delays in the Engineering Division of a Manufacturing Company: Using the Fishbone Diagram and Root Cause Approach
Project delays are a common challenge in project management, especially in the engineering sector of the manufacturing industry. This study aims to identify the root causes of delays in production machinery procurement projects within the Engineering Division at PT XYZ, focusing on internal processes that affect project completion. The study uses Fishbone Diagram and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), which are effective tools to systematically uncover complex causal factors. The research is descriptive qualitative in nature, based on secondary data from 27 Project Status Reports (PSRs) from February 2022 to December 2023, categorized into six factors: Human, Machine, Method, Material, Measurement, and Environment. Fishbone analysis and 5 Whys were used to determine dominant and root causes. Finding show that delays are primarily caused by Method (25.4%), Machine (22.8%), and Human (21.1%) factors. Root causes include the lack of standardized design processes, limited machine precision for new design requirements, and delays in management decision-making due to incomplete technical information and multitasking among designers. To mitigate delays in future projects, PT XYZ is advised to establish a cross-functional planning team from the early stages, develop consistent SOPs for design, approval, and validation, and implement better human resource allocation through integrated project scheduling. These steps are expected to enhance project efficiency and accelerate technical decision-making processes
Effective Strategies for Stakeholder Engagement in Business Sustainability: a Literature Study
Addressing global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality has prompted companies to adopt sustainable business practices, balancing economic goals with social and environmental responsibility. The study aims to explore strategies for effective stakeholder engagement in achieving business sustainability, by emphasizing the role of digital technology. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this study analyzes relevant literature from academic databases, critically synthesizing theory and practice to identify key strategies and challenges. The findings highlight the important role of digitalization in improving operational efficiency, transparency, and innovation. Technologies such as IoT, AI, and data analytics drive sustainable practices by improving decision-making, reducing environmental impact, and driving value creation. Examples from countries such as Singapore and Germany demonstrate the transformative potential of strategic digital integration. Along with that, stakeholder collaboration has emerged as essential to address various interests and promote accountability. Digital platforms facilitate better communication, enabling joint problem-solving and aligning business goals with the needs of society and the environment
Pengembangan Bisnis dan Tata Kelola Keuangan melalui Pendampingan UMKM Desa Serang Baru
The mentoring activities for business development and financial governance of MSMEs in Serang Baru Village aim to increase the capacity of business actors in managing their businesses effectively. Through training covering financial management, business planning, and technology utilisation, participants are expected to understand the importance of financial records and business development strategies. Monitoring and evaluation results showed a significant improvement in the understanding and skills of MSME players, which was reflected in better financial management and increased competitiveness of local products. Participants were able to record financial transactions more accurately and manage cash flow, thereby monitoring the financial health of their businesses. This activity is expected to contribute to business sustainability and local economic growth in Serang Baru Village and encourage MSME players to continue to innovate and improve the quality of their products
Pengaruh Viral Marketing Instagram Dan Celebrity Endoser Terhadap Minat Beli Produk Scarlet Whitening Pada Masyarakat Kecamatan Jagakarsa
This research aimed to find out and analyze the influence of Instagram viral marketing and celebrity endorsers on the interest in purchasing Scarlett Whitening products among the people of Jagakarsa Subdistrict. The research method used descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The population of this research was the population of Jagakarsa Subdistrict, with sampling using the Hair formula, resulting in a sample of 100 respondents. The data analysis technique in this research used descriptive statistics with multiple linear regression analysis. Each respondent was given 30 statements using a Likert scale, and this research used instrument testing (validity and reliability tests), classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests), multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing (T-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination), and f- test. Meanwhile, data processing used the SPSS version 26 for Mac program. The results showed that viral marketing and celebrity endorsers had a significant simultaneous influence on purchase interest. The coefficient of determination (R2) showed that the viral marketing and celebrity endorser variables had a simultaneous influence of 13% on purchase interest, while the remaining 87% was influenced by other variables not researched in this research
ANALISIS STRATEGI PEMADANAN NIK MENJADI NPWP DALAM RANGKA MENINGKATKAN KEPATUHAN WAJIB PAJAK ORANG PRIBADI DI KANTOR PELAYANAN PAJAK PRATAMA BEKASI BARAT 2023
Through the Integration of NIK into NPWP policy, the Directorate General of Taxes has made a new breakthrough that will implement a Single Identification Number (SIN) between NIK and NPWP. The purpose of this research is to analyse the strategy of matching NIK to NPWP in order to increase individual taxpayer compliance at the West Bekasi Primary Tax Service Office in 2023. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research uses the theory of Azhari Aziz Samudra (Barlian, Rossya and Rulandari, 2021). The results of this study showed that the West Bekasi Primary Tax Office Strategy for the existence of the NIK to NPWP Policy has been able to increase the number and compliance of taxpayers through various media, as well as the characteristics of friendly and professional extension services. But there are still obstacles that affect the NIK to NPWP Matching strategy so that the matching process has not been fully achieved. ANALISIS PENERAPAN PRINSIP-PRINSIP GOOD GOVERNANCE DALAM PEMBERIAN PELAYANAN PUBLIK (STUDI PADA KELURAHAN CAKUNG BARAT KECAMATAN CAKUNG KOTA JAKARTA TIMUR)
This research discusses the implementation of good governance principles in public service delivery at Cakung Barat Sub-District, East Jakarta. The objective of the research is to analyze how principles such as accountability, transparency, openness, and the rule of law are applied in the sub-district. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and Nvivo data processing. The findings indicate that good governance principles have been well implemented, particularly in terms of accountability and openness, through effective communication and the availability of suggestion boxes. However, several challenges were identified, such as delays in service delivery and limited human resources. This research also highlights the importance of enhancing public service quality through human resource training and the optimization of information technology usage. This research provides valuable insights for local governments to improve service quality based on good governance principles, particularly in creating efficient, fair, and transparent services for the community
Pemasaran Kreatif untuk Peningkatan Usaha Pelaku IKM dalam Mendorong Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Lokal
Small and Medium Industries play an irreplaceable role in spurring local economic growth in Indonesia. The contribution of Small and Medium Industries to Gross Domestic Product and job creation is very significant. However, Small and Medium Industries face major challenges, including limited marketing knowledge and skills, limited access to promotional media and digital platforms, and intense competition with imported products. To overcome this challenge, a service program was implemented in Sinar Gading Village, Merangin Regency, aimed at improving the creative marketing capabilities of Small and Medium Industry players. This program involves 40 participants from various Small and Medium Industry sectors, through intensive training that includes creative marketing techniques, branding, digital marketing, product innovation and e-commerce. The results of this program show a significant increase in participants\u27 marketing knowledge and skills, which has a positive impact on sales turnover, market expansion, and the formation of new collaboration networks between Small and Medium Industry players. Even though there are still obstacles such as limited access to technology and traditional mindsets, this initiative has succeeded in increasing the competitiveness of local Small and Medium Industries and encouraging economic growth in the area. Ongoing support is essential to strengthen the results achieved and ensure long-term success
Peningkatan Tata Kelola pada Sistem Manajemen Persediaan melalui Edukasi dan Pelatihan bagi UMKM di Desa Wisata Wates Jaya, Kabupaten Bogor
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) serve as one of the pillars of the national economy and provide significant employment opportunities. MSMEs located in tourist villages also play a crucial role. In the tourism sector, tourist villages also act as key drivers of economic growth. Therefore, MSMEs and tourist villages are interconnected in a mutually reinforcing relationship. In the tourism activity framework known as the 3S concept (something to see, something to do, something to buy), MSMEs serve as the primary actors in the "something to buy" aspect. Wates Jaya Tourist Village, located in Bogor Regency, is an emerging tourist destination. Apart from issues related to capital and marketing, MSME entrepreneurs in Wates Jaya Village face challenges in raw material supply, cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations, and suboptimal record-keeping or administrative management. Training programs have been conducted to address these challenges by developing an integrated inventory management system that facilitates calculation and record-keeping through simple digital technology. However, evaluation results indicate that regular mentoring is still needed to enhance MSMEs\u27 proficiency in utilizing the system effectively
Pengaruh Profitabilitas, Leverage Dan Arus Kas Operasi Terhadap Penghindaran Pajak (Studi Kasus Pada Perusahaan Sektor Perbankan Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2021-2023)
This study aims to analyze profitability, leverage and operating cash on tax avoidance in banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. This study uses descriptive quantitative approach methods and Nonprobability Sampling as a sampling technique with a sample of 21 banking sector companies from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023. Data is obtained from the company\u27s financial statements and annual reports. In conclusion, profitability has a positive effect on tax avoidance, leverage has a positive effect on tax avoidance, operating cash flow has a positive effect on tax avoidance, together profitability, leverage and operating cash flow have a positive effect on tax avoidance. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the determination coefficient test were 39.7%, meaning that the influence of profitability, leverage and operating cash variables on tax avoidance was 39.7%, while 60.3% was influenced by other factors that were not studied in this study
Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja dan Kompensasi Pegawai terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Honorer di Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kementerian Dalam Negeri
Penelitian ini Tentang Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja dan Kompensasi Pegawai terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Honorer di Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kementerian Dalam Negeri. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana disiplin kerja dan kompensasi mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai honorer di instansi tersebut.adapun variable penelitian yang digunakan adalah, Variabel Bebas: Disiplin Kerja (X1) dan Kompensasi Kerja (X2) dan Variabel Terikat: Kinerja Pegawai (Y). Metodologi Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 60 pegawai honorer. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan untuk memastikan keakuratan instrumen penelitian. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara disiplin kerja dan kinerja, Variabel Disiplin Kerja memiliki nilai signifikansi 0,001, dimana nilai p < 0,05. Selain itu, Nilai T hitung yaitu 12,36 dimana lebih besat dari R tabeL yaitu 0,220. Pada variable kompensasi terhadap kinerja, Variabel Kompensasi Kerja memiliki nilai signifikansi 0,045, dimana nilai p < 0,05. Selain itu, Nilai T hitung yaitu 2,05 dimana lebih besar dari R tabel yaitu 0,220. Selanjutnya, secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai, dengan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan kompensasi yaitu, nilai R Square 0,84 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,001 (p< 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan disiplin kerja dan kompensasi yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kinerja pegawai honorer di Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar manajemen memperhatikan kedua aspek ini dalam kebijakan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia untuk mencapai kinerja yang optimal
