Henry Newberry
Portrait of Henry Newberry (1783-1854). Newberry was a prominent member of Cuyahoga Falls and served as the first mayor and postmaster. He also helped form the First National Bank of Cuyahoga Falls and the First (Pilgrim) Congregational Church. Newberry was a county auditor and the president of a fire insurance company, in addition to his work with farming, manufacturing, and coal mining
