Da Epimenide a Teodoro di Mopsuestia, attraverso Calli¬maco, San Paolo e Giuliano
An examination of the citation by St. Paul (Epist. to Titus1.12)of a famous hexameter attributed to Epimenides, while tracing its polemical use by Pagans and Christians and discussing modern interpretations, highlights the sarcastic employment of the verse (against Paul) by the emperor Julian in his work Contra Galilaeosand the reaction of the Antiochean exegetes Theodore of Mopsuestia and John Chrysostom
Rutilio Namaziano e Seneca, paradossi e polemiche (a pro¬posito dei vv. 439-452 e 515-526)
This article focuses on some passages of the poem De reditu suo, vv. 439-452 and 515-526, where Rutilius Namatianus polemicizes against the hermit monks of the lonely Tuscan islands Capraia and Gorgona. The relevant verses show striking resemblances with texts by Seneca, when the philosopher criticizes the withdrawn lifestyle of some of his contemporaries. In my opinion the echoes of Senecan paradoxes are especially remarkable from a stylistic point of view

Improving governance learning for sustainable development: introductory reflections on a specific issue in adult education
Good governance is considered a pillar in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030. Failures in governance processes are considered to be at the origin of countless problems in ecosystem services management. The influence of formal and informal institutions, the role of state and non-state actors, the nature of multi-level interactions and the importance of social and economic conditions, that can facilitate or increase citizen participation, are identified as structural features of governance systems. The functioning of these systems is conceptualized as social learning as a conceptual framework to understand the dynamics and the adaptive capacity of governance systems to develop learning. Informal networks are considered to play a crucial role in these learning processes. This contribution presents a reflection on learning dimension of governance, based on relationships among sustainability, human development and ecosystem protection.
Augmented reality and textbooks: systematic review
This study presents a systematic literature review on augmented reality textbooks. During the analysis, the subjects of the searches, the typologies of used technologies, the benefits and the difficulties highlighted have been considered as factors of investigation. The results reveal that augmented reality textbooks is not very diffused despite the results of the analyzed searches showing the effectiveness of its use in the educational context.
Future of work and education in 21st century. Coworking as learning space
The transformation of the labour market has caused rapid unavoidable effects on educational and training needs. As a part of the debate on the future of work, learning and skills in the 21st century, this contribution focuses on learning processes in coworking as shared workplaces where it is possible to combine different professional skills in a productive, social and learning environment. In fact, coworking spaces can interpret the changes in our society, offering an alternative perspective on labour based on collaboration and meaningful connections between people, as well as self-directed, self-regulated, and socially integrated educational pathways.
Robotics, 3D virtual worlds and social stories. A proposal for Autism Spectrum Disorder
The studies on robotics and immersive virtual worlds with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder highlight a growing attention on the identification of affordances that such technologies have and on their impact for the development of social comprehension. The article will deal with a discussion of some researches in the field as well as of affordance of technologies of interest to introduce the design of a specific learning path for the creation of social stories for the comprehension of a specific emotion. Technologies will play the role of mediators at different levels: from the natural setting to the virtual one and from the interaction human-robot to the interaction avatar-robot. Robotica, mondi virtuali 3D e storie sociali.

Immigrants in agricultural sector in Sicily: the experience of Sicilia Integra project
The overview of the most relevant literature on migration, whose main issues were human rights, work in agriculture, cultural and social inclusion, highlighted one common point: the need to foster the legal work of migrants as a driver for social integration. This finding was confirmed by a CREA-PB survey that, after outlining the role of foreign workers in Sicilian agriculture, has emphasised how their state of isolation derived mainly from their bad housing conditions directly connected to illegal employment. The evaluation of the project “Sicilia Integra”, which was born under the patronage of the UN to include young immigrants in urban agriculture activities in Sicily, was carried out through the SWOT methodology for verifying if it could be spread in the Sicilian region
