Análisis comparado de la política de transparencia en los municipios Ibéricos
Get PDFEste trabajo analiza, desde una perspectiva comparada, la evolución de las políticas sobre transparencia en los municipios Ibéricos (españoles y portugueses). A pesar de la aparente similitud político-administrativa de España y Portugal, la forma en que cada país implementa y gestiona la transparencia puede variar. Ante este escenario, se pretende responder a la pregunta de investigación sobre la existencia de similitudes y diferencias identificadas en la política de transparencia de estos municipios. Se sigue una metodología descriptiva y comparativa enfocada a proporcionar una visión sobre el desarrollo y alcance de la información que es revelada en los sitios web de los municipios españoles y portugueses, identificando las semejanzas y discrepancias existentes. Así, la política de transparencia se desarrolló de forma similar en ambos países y la elaboración de índices de transparencia tuvo un impacto positivo en la revelación de información, a pesar de que los niveles revelados en los municipios españoles son superiores
Intelligibility: different persceptives of its concep and assessment. A systematic review
Get PDFUna adecuada inteligibilidad es un indicador del éxito en la comunicación. Su interferencia, a causa de cualquier patología, debe ser abordada en los objetivos primordiales de la terapia. No obstante, los métodos para su evaluación son poco conocidos. Los objetivos de esta investigación son desarrollar una revisión sistemática que describa los métodos empleados en la medición de la inteligibilidad y discutir la conceptualización de este constructo. Se realiza una búsqueda en las bases de datos PubMed, ScieLo y Science Direct para identificar artículos publicados entre 1990 y 2018. Se seleccionan 50 investigaciones en inglés, español y portugués, que mostraron preferencia por medidas objetivas de evaluación, sobre las medidas subjetivas de escala. La inteligibilidad se define mejor como un constructo dependiente de la señal acústica, y no necesariamente asociado a factores contextuales. Metaphor Variation and Change in World Englishes: A Corpus-Based Study of FEAR, HUMILIATION and HOPE
Get PDFDifferently from other areas of linguistic research, the study of metaphor variation and change presents some uniquely difficult challenges for systematic linguistic analysis. The recent development of cognitive sociolinguistic theory has showcased the importance of the study of conceptual differences among linguistic varieties. This paper is intended as a contribution to this field of investigation: using statistical analysis of largesets of dialectal data, we will propose an analysis of onomasiological lexical variation and change across varieties of World English. In particular, we will focus on why particular emotion conceptualizations are more frequent in some of these varieties of English. Our analysis shows that local socio-cultural models of emotions affect lexical variation and change at the dialectal level
HIDRA: A Distributed Blockchain-Based Architecture for Fog/Edge Computing Environments
Get PDFNowadays, the fog computing paradigm is being consolidated as a solution for processing the explosion of data generated by lots of common IoT devices connected to the Internet. In contrast to cloud computing, fog computing achieves efficient data processing without incurring large latencies or data transfers to/from the cloud. The distributed nature of fog computing makes the resource orchestration a challenge. Commonly used centralized solutions are of limited utility in this context. Moreover, fog nodes are usually resource constrained, so the implementation of the management modules should be carefully designed in order not to cause excessive overheads. On the other hand, blockchain has proven its utility beyond cryptocurrencies, to support distributed and reliable information storage. When combined with smart contracts it can provide a distributed computer where all the nodes independently and equally contribute to a common global system state, which must be agreed by consensus. This also provides inherent desirable features, such as immutability and transparency. In this work, a novel architecture called HIDRA is presented, aimed at resource orchestration in fog computing environments based on a Ethereum blockchain implementation. A prototype implementation on a testbed composed of single-board computers has been carried out. Results show the low overhead introduced into the system and its ability to perform a coordinated action among fog nodes without the intervention of any central authority
El informe de auditoria como herramienta de análisis de la información no financiera. Las cuestiones clave y las empresas españolas
Get PDFLa estructura y la composición del Informe ha sufrido un proceso de
mejora, al objeto de garantizar la transparencia de la información
empresarial y de cumplir las expectativas de los stakeholders. Esto
supuso la necesidad de redactar un nuevo apartado en el Informe de
Auditoría, “Cuestiones clave de auditoría” (Key Audit Matters KAM),
por las que el auditor, en base a su juicio profesional, debe mostrar los
aspectos más significativos observados en la realización de la auditoría,
así como la respuesta a los riesgos identificados. Son aquellas
cuestiones que, a juicio del auditor y seleccionadas entre los asuntos
comunicados a los responsables del gobierno de la entidad auditada,
han sido de la mayor importancia para la auditoría de los estados
financieros del período.
Las KAM han jugado un papel relevante durante el ejercicio económico
20-21, para analizar y evaluar los riesgos derivados de la pandemia
mundial que ha afectado, tanto a nivel económico, social y que nos van
a indicar la información no financiera relevante en los Estados
Financieros de las empresas, al objeto de plasmar los efectos derivados
de la misma.
Nuestro estudio se centra en el análisis de las KAM de las empresas que
conforman el IBEX 35 de la Bolsa Española, durante el ejercicio 2020.The structure and composition of the Report has undergone a process
of improvement, in order to guarantee the transparency of business
information and guarantee the expectations of stakeholders. This meant
the need to write a new section in the Audit Report, "Key Audit
Matters KAM", whereas the auditor, based on his professional
judgment, must show the most significant aspects observed in the
performance of the audit, as well as the response to the identified risks.
On those issues that, in the opinion of the auditor and selected from
among the matters communicated to those responsible for the
governance of the audited entity, have been of the greatest importance
for the audit of the financial statements of the period.
The KAM have played an important role during the financial year 20-
21, to analyze and evaluate the risks derived from the global pandemic
that has affected, both economically, socially and that will indicate the
relevant non-financial information in the Financial Statements of the
companies, in order to capture the effects derived from it.
Our study focuses on the analysis of the KAM of the companies that
make up the IBEX 35 of the Spanish Stock Exchange, during the year
2020
