Emotional Intelligence as a Vital Indicator of Teacher Effectiveness
The present research will refer to emotional intelligence (EI) with important work-related outcomes such as teacher performance as well as organizational productivity. The initial goal is to explore the effect (role) of emotional intelligence skills in effective teaching, and its effect on the productivity of teacher’s performance during the teaching-learning process. Effective teaching and good learning are two integral parts of students’ academic success. There are number of crucial factors which play an important role in teacher effectiveness such as teacher’s classroom management skills, teacher’s subject expertise, knowledge of teaching methods, teacher’s professionalism, – how to structure, explain and present the materials, and others. But emotional intelligence (EI), as the fifth component and the most important factor, sets most effective teachers apart from the majority because process of learning involves emotional and intellectual endeavor, struggle, frustration, excitement, also anxiety. Therefore an affective teacher needs an understanding of students’ emotional state and causes of their behavior to create an ideal learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement and strong motivation to learn. In the light of exploration of the role of Emotional Intelligence in effective teaching-learning process, this study asserts that teachers’ emotional competence factors contribute to the teacher effectiveness more than any other single factor. For instance, development of supportive teacher-student relationships, effective classroom management strategies, and successful emotional learning program implementation in order to create an ideal classroom climate that is more conducive to learning. All these contributions promote positive developmental outcomes in students’ achievements
Educational Technology Implementation in Private Universities in Erbil City
These days technologies have become in many parts of life more than ever before. One of the major challenges in dealing with various technologies is to implement them in a useful way to improve life quality. Since educational technologies can play a big role in developing both the teaching and learning process, that’s why the author chose this field for this research. The purpose of this paper is to explore the status of educational technology in a few selected private universities inside Erbil city to get a perception of development areas and to develop a survey for that purpose. To fulfil the objective of this paper, the author presented these study findings based on the developed survey, observations, interviews, and related work to develop an educational technology investment in universities. An Empirical Study of Big Data Analytics in Rural Arena
Innovations in ICT sector facilitate qualitative life style for citizens in the globe. Countries that facilitate usage of new techniques in ICT, i.e. Big data analytics, find it easier to fulfil the needs of their citizens. Big data is characterized by its volume, variety, and speed. Analytics involves its processing in a cost effective way in order to draw conclusion for their useful application. Big data also involves the field of machine learning, artificial intelligence leading to accuracy in data presentation useful for public policy making. Hence using data analytics in public policy- making is a proper way to march towards all round development of any country. The data-driven insights can help the government to take important strategic decisions with regard to socio-economic development of country. Developed nations like the UK and the USA are already far ahead on the path of digitization with the support of Big Data analytics. India is a huge country and it is currently on the path of massive digitization being realised through Digital India Mission. Internet connection per household is on the rise every year. This transforms into a massive data set that has the potential to improvise the public services delivery system into an effective service mechanism for Indian citizens. In fact, when compared to developed nations, this capacity is being underutilized in India. This is particularly true for administrative system in rural areas. The present paper focuses on the need of the adaptation for Big data analytics in Indian rural administration and its contribution towards development of the country on a faster pace. Results of the research focused on the need for increasing awareness and serious capacity building of the government personnel working for rural development with regard to Big data analytics and its utility for development of the country. Multiple public policies are framed and implemented for rural development yet, the results are not as effective as they should be. Big data has a major role to play in this context as it can assist in improving both policymaking and implementation, which aims at all round development of the country
Project Based Learning in Mathematics Context
Project based learning (PBL) is a learner-centered instructional method which supports learning through engaging students in an investigation of a topic worth learning more about. District from traditional models, project based learning has been designed to create opportunities for students to explore, gather information and think critically. Students can reap many benefits from PBL strategy in terms of influencing goal orientation, increasing curiosity to search, augmenting engagement, promoting mastery of new knowledge, fostering problem-solving skills, developing critical thinking, enhancing peer learning and improving communication skills. This paper frames main criteria of PBL and focuses on the influence of PBL on student achievement in mathematics

The term of intellectual property rights refers to the rights in copyright, designs, patents, circuit layouts, trademarks and plant breeder’s rights. It focuses on four main intellectual creations: copyright, patents, designs and plant varieties. Finally, the study points out some suggestions and updates to be made in the relevant Iraqi laws
Method Selection, Basic Methods and Different Orientations in Foreign Language Teaching
The greatest feature that distinguishes a person living on Earth from other living things is undoubtedly the ability to communicate in very different ways. Human beings recognize and introduce themselves through language. According to (Aksan 2003) “language is a multi-faceted developed symbolic group that allows thoughts, feelings and aspirations to be transmitted to others by making use of items and rules common to voice and meaning in a society” (p. 11). When people living in different societies and when different settlements come together to communicate with each other, each community has become familiar and ordinary with a different language for another society. Thus, the need for people to learn a foreign language has emerged. The subject of this study is different orientations in foreign language teaching. Classroom Management and School Science Labs: A Review of Literature on Classroom Management Strategies
Effective learning refers to the extent to which educational institutions are effective in achieving their educational objectives. Effective teaching/learning cannot simply happen in a classroom where teachers fail to manage classrooms effectively. Therefore, classroom management happens in a positive classroom environment where positive teacher-student rapport is established. As for science laboratory, learning in the labs has been long considered as a crucial part of science education. Effective management strategies not only in the classrooms, but also in science labs support and enhance effective teaching and learning. Classroom management in science labs is a standout amongst the most central roles played by teachers because it determines the achievements of students. Effective science teachers are the ones who understand the peculiarities of students’ behavior in science labs and use preventive and reactive classroom management strategies to prevent or react to problem behavior of students. Emphasizing the knowledge and the practice of classroom management strategies, this study will illuminate effective techniques for management in the classrooms and consider this from the perspective of teacher effectiveness, particularly in science labs, and consequently suggest some implications for practice
