Species data with variables for "Identifying climate refugia for high-elevation Alpine birds under current climate warming predictions"
These files include species location and background points used for Species Distribution Models, with relative values of environmental variables used in the modelling procedure. Files are provided in CSV format and in RDS format (to be used in R for model running). The txt file includes the code for running the main models (MaxEnt) shown in the paper and used to identify climate refugia.
The data have been provided by different institutions and have been used under a specific licence for the current study; restrictions hence apply to their availability. Data are made available by the authors in agreement with providing insitutions, but any further use requires the permission of the third parties involved in data provision.
For rock ptarmigan, which is a quarry species in many Alpine regions despite the concerning conservation status, coordinates are not provided because of conservation reasons.
All data have a spatial resolution of 1 km, and the coordinate reference system is EPSG 3035. See the text of the associated paper for further details

Investigation on ncRNA in senescence in senescence cellular models
Cellular senescence is a hallmark of aging and is the result of a variety of stresses, such as telomere attrition, DNA damage and mitochondrial dysfunction. Moreover, senescent cells display a typical secretory phenotype, which involves the secretion of several inflammatory factors, as well as increased levels of beta-galactosidase activity in the lysosomes. Senescent cells accumulate during aging and have been implicated in promoting a variety of age-related diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases.
Autophagy, the degradation system whereby the cells recycle dysfunctional proteins and damaged organelles, is one of the processes affected by senescence, but it is also able to induce senescence. Among the different mechanisms controlling the senescence status and the autophagic process, a key role of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), both miRNAs and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), is now clearly emerging.
AIM OF THE PROJECT
With the aim to explore a possible dysregulation of ncRNAs in senescence, we will measured by qPCR the levels of a set of miRNAs and lncRNAs associated to autophagy, senescence and aging in different cellular models of replicative and chemical induced senescence.

This dataset include the LC-MS/MS proteomics and phosphoproteomics datasets of changed proteins generated in the study: "Changes of RAS pathway phosphorylation in lymphoblastoid cell lines from Noonan syndrome patients carrying hypomorphic variants in two NS genes" by Viviana Tritto, Daniele Capitanio, Cecilia Gelfi and Paola Riva. Data were generated by LC-ESI-MS/MS with label-free quantitation. Mass spectra were analyzed using MaxQuant software (Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry, Munich, Germany, version 1.6.3.3). Statistical analyses were performed using the Perseus software (Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Munich, Germany, version 1.4.0.6). For statistical analysis, ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc test with a p-value threshold of 0.05 was applied. To exclude the presence of false positives from the analysis, Benjamini–Hochberg false discovery rate test was applied
