Целта на статията е да се направи опит за очертаване потенциала на законодателния акт да се наложи като световна рамка за регулиране на изкуствения интелект на база на анализ на съществуващите и възможни проблеми и евентуалните решения на законодателя. No full textХотелиерският бизнес е една от най-засегнатите от икономическите кризи индустрии поради високата зависимост от свободното потребителско търсене и капиталоемкия характер на дейността. Възстановяването на тази дейност изисква прила-гането на целенасочени стратегии за управление на кризи, базирани на анализ на предходни кризи, натрупан опит и способност за адаптиране. Настоящата разработка има за цел да разгледа подходите за управление на икономическите кризи в хотелиерската индустрия, като се базира върху анализ на теоретично обосновани и практически приложими подходи, прилагани по време на кризисни ситуации. За целта се очертават факторите и елементите на икономическата криза, предлагат се стратегии за управлението й чрез оценка на риска и се представят подходи, базирани върху моделите за управление на риска, които биха имали полезна практическа стойност за хотелиерите и за икономическите субекти в туризма

No full textВ разработката е представено икономическото значение на иновациите като ключов двигател за икономически растеж чрез създаване, внедряване и развитие на нови технологии, продукти и методи. Те съчетават научноизследователска и развойна дейност (НИРД), която осигурява базовите знания, и бизнес иновации, които трансформират тези знания в пазарно приложими решения. В условия на кризи иновациите играят критична роля за адаптиране и устойчивост, като ускоряват цифровизацията, въвеждането на нови бизнес модели и изграждането на устойчиви екосистеми. Настоящият анализ разглежда иновациите като основа за устойчив растеж, особено по време на икономически сътресения, и предлага стратегии за тяхното стимулиране в контекста на глобалната икономика и мястото на България в нея. Иновациите са основен двигател на икономическия растеж, особено в условия на кризи, когато адаптацията и устойчивостта стават критично важни. Разходите за иновации, измервани чрез БВРНИРД, БРНИРД и РПНИРД, се влияят значително от икономическите сътресения, като пандемията от COVID-19 демонстрира значителни различия в динамиката на публичните и частните инвестиции в иновации

Estimating the Incidence of Operational Risks on Corporate Sustainability in the Cement Industry through Financial Simulation
No full textThis study estimates the impact of operational risks on corporate sustainability in the cement industry through a financial simulation. The methodology is based on a case study in the cement industry and identifies company’s operational risks before classifying them through a taxonomy of environmental, social and economic variables. The impact is quantified using a stochastic model with a Poisson distribution for frequency and a PERT distribution for severity. The results show that it is possible to quantify aggregate losses through the proposed probability distributions, eliminating the limitations faced by companies in the absence of historical information, and it is concluded that the average impact of these risks on FCF varies between 7.52% and 13.13% for the case study, also demonstrating that the impact is reduced when risks are proactively managed. Finally, the proposed model allows calculation and simulation of the financial impact of these risks on the company’s free cash flow and establishes strategies for cost mitigation and financial optimization. This research has two limitations: the validation in a single industry and the limitation of using solver for optimization
Societal Impacts And Ethical Considerations Of AI In The Business
Full text linkUsing advanced technologies in general, and AI in particular, are enabling and bringing valuable services and contributions to society in many directions. Likewise, for nature, their contribution is significant in different areas. But, as we consider the positive aspects of AI for society and nature, we must bear in mind that at the same time the advancement of technologies and the use of AI are causing societal side effects and external costs, which are tangible and visibly damaging society and nature. In this presentation, through literature sources and empirical findings, we will highlight the positive and side effects of the application of AI, assessing that the challenge of society and professionals in the field is to minimize side effects and external costs of AI, making the AI beneficial for humanity. The paper conveys the hypothesis that the application of AI Ethics is an effective tool to make AI useful and beneficial both for society and for nature. For this purpose, corporations and businesses of all sizes, must clearly articulate their attitude and behaviour in regard to the use of technologies. The collection of literature, empirical findings, analysis, comparison, generalization, and evaluations will be used as research instruments to testify the idea presented. The paper recommends that business organizations should apply the AI Code of Ethics as an integral part of their daily activity

Full text linkIn the mid-2000s, an increasing number of articles began to address the need for developing modern energy services in developing countries. These publications, in addition to analyzing the lack of physical access to energy services and its consequences, also discussed the financial inaccessibility of these services. Researchers assessed various types of energy resources consumed by households across income deciles to highlight incomebased disparities. The World Bank raised the issue of financial inaccessibility to energy on an international level, emphasizing its negative effects on people’s health, children’s education, women’s quality of life, and the environment. Energy accessibility was examined within tools aimed at addressing poverty issues, especially among marginalized groups, rural areas, and other underserved communities

Full text linkThe globalization of financial markets and the dynamic development of information and communication technologies over the past two decades have become key drivers of significant changes in the financial system. New and increasingly complex financial products and services are emerging, competition among financial institutions is intensifying, and traditional financial services are becoming digitalised. Many financial products offered today did not even exist a few years ago, and almost all transactions, both at the individual and institutional level, are now conducted electronically at the click of a button. In this environment where there are abundant investment opportunities and simplified access to financial markets, deposits remain the preferred instrument for holding savings. This trend is evident not only in Bulgaria, but also in many other countries. This study focuses on examining deposits and investments in financial instruments in Bulgaria over the period 2013 – 2023
Does Trade Development Depend On Road Network Quality?
Full text linkMarket globalization today presumes a free movement of people, goods, and capitals, which, in turn, is intended to stimulate growth of various economic sectors and trade in particular. To this end, the development of a high-quality road infrastructure with large territorial coverage is an essential condition for the successful operation of any commercial enterprise. This study contributes to understanding how road network development affects the commercial activities of individual countries within the European Union. The correlation between domestic sales and road network length was assessed using official statistical data. The findings support the opinion that the coverage and level of development of transportation infrastructure strongly correlate with the increase of trade volumes although this relationship is manifested differently across its subsectors
