Il corporate greenwashing come pratica commerciale sleale
No full textEmerso in risposta alla crescente domanda di sostenibilità ambientale dei prodotti e delle attività delle imprese, proveniente da consumatori, azionisti e investitori, il corporate greenwashing si è diffuso pervasivamente nel corso degli ultimi tre decenni, assumendo forme sempre più sofisticate e insidiose. Spesso ricondotto, in modo riduttivo, alla formulazione di dichiarazioni ambientali ingannevoli, esso si configura in realtà come una pratica commerciale sleale dalle modalità attuative estremamente variegate. Il volume, muovendo dalla recente adozione della direttiva 2024/825/UE sulla responsabilizzazione dei consumatori per la transizione verde – che integra, tra l’altro, la disciplina generale in materia di pratiche commerciali sleali contenuta nella direttiva 2005/29/CE –, analizza il paradigma alla base della normativa sovranazionale di contrasto al corporate greenwashing, l’assetto di interessi che ne deriva – nella sua tensione tra tutela dei consumatori e protezione dell’ambiente da un lato, e libertà di espressione commerciale e iniziativa economica dall’altro – nonché le molteplici dimensioni della slealtà che questa pratica può assumere, mettendo in evidenza le luci e le ombre della disciplina attuale e delle probabili linee di sviluppo future

No full textQuesto capitolo di Andrea Guidi analizza "Il libro dell'arte della guerra" di Niccolò Machiavelli, opera meno nota ma significativa del pensatore fiorentino. Pubblicato nel 1521, il libro esplora l'organizzazione e le tattiche militari, riflettendo sulla necessità di una milizia cittadina anziché mercenaria. Guidi evidenzia come Machiavelli si ispiri ai classici militari antichi, ma applichi le proprie osservazioni sull'esperienza moderna. Attraverso un dialogo tra figure storiche, Machiavelli propone un modello di esercito composto da cittadini e contadini temporaneamente in armi, criticando la pratica dei condottieri mercenari. Introduction
No full textSustainability perspectives of the building construction process, according to recent theories addressing circular economy [1], propose new research and development topics for the construction sector, particularly for Construction Project Management [2]. Managing the building construction process in the design, execution and management stages remains of central importance for environmental and economic sustainability. The construction sector needs a new identity and production framework for growth in a context of global instability. The theme of the "Circular Economy", together with digitalization, leads to a focus on the different Value Chains of the construction process, creating increasingly efficient connections between stakeholders with the goal of increasing the reuse of materials and products by extending their life cycle, minimizing waste and reducing the use of natural resources to decrease environmental impacts, particularly Greenhouse Gas emissions [3].
In the context of scientific research collaboration between the University of Bologna (Italy), Tampere University (Finland) and Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), the 3rd Construction Management Workshop (CMW) was held in Ravenna, on 7 and 8 of November 2024. The CMW workshop aims to highlight key research topics that could be drivers of change and innovation in the management of the building process in its various stages, starting from design to construction, operation and maintenance, disposal and reuse.
The 1st Ravenna workshop on New Frontiers of Construction Management (CMW 13) was organized in 2013, and the 2nd one in 2018. CMW 24 was the 3rd one in the continuous series of these valuable gatherings of academics and industry representatives. The Ravenna CMW workshops are forums for presentations of the latest valuable research-based knowledge and developments in construction management. The mission of these workshops is to provide steppingstones for further advancements of construction management with innovations, breakthrough results and discussions

Patient–Practitioner–Environment Synchronization: Four-Step Process for Integrating Interprofessional and Distinctive Competencies in Osteopathic Practice—A Scoping Review with Integrative Hypothesis

A major goal for a significant portion of the osteopathic community is to update osteopathic principles, satisfying three needs: sourcing from the origin, proposing original and unique practical approaches, and describing the entire process in a scientifically updated way. On this line, several interprofessional proposals for healthcare providers have already been made by implementing patient-centered care and touch-based strategies informed by the enactive model. Enactivism principles can provide a foundation for rethinking osteopathic care by integrating environmental, psychological, social, and existential factors to facilitate the patient’s biobehavioral synchronization with the environment and social context, address health needs, and enhance the quality of multiprofessional healthcare services. However, there is a need to develop a conceptual model that offers a framework for organizing and interpreting disciplinary knowledge, guiding clinical observation and practical strategies, and defining both interprofessional collaboration and the unique focus of the profession. This scoping review and integrative hypothesis aim to fulfill the need for a more detailed and comprehensive understanding of the distinctive osteopathic care to biobehavioral synchrony, emphasizing both interprofessional collaboration and the profession’s unique competencies. Methods. The present article was developed in accordance with established guidelines for writing biomedical scoping reviews. Results. A total of 36 papers were considered for thematic and qualitative analyses, which supported the integrative hypothesis. Considering the current tenets for osteopathic rational practice, we propose an integrative hypothesis to focus on a practical framework for osteopathic patient biobehavioral synchronization. Patient–practitioner–environment synchronization could be promoted through a four-step process: (1) a narrative-based sense-making and decision-making process; (2) a touch-based shared sense-making and decision-making process; (3) hands-on, mindfulness-based osteopathic manipulative treatment; (4) patient active participatory osteopathic approaches to enhance person-centered care and rational practice. Conclusions and future directions: The proposed model fosters patient–practitioner synchronization by integrating updated traditional osteopathic narratives and body representations into practice, offering a culturally sensitive approach to promoting health, addressing contemporary health needs, and improving inclusive health services. Future studies are required to assess the transferability and applicability of this framework in modern settings worldwide
Performance Evaluation of DAB-Based Partial Power Processing for In-Motion-Charging Trolleybuses
No full textThe performance evaluation of on-board chargers for in-motion-charging trolleybuses considering full and partial power processing solutions is discussed. For both cases, the actual power conversion is performed by employing a dual active bridge converter specifically tailored for the application. Realistic voltage profiles taken from Bologna's trolleybus network have been considered. Mission profiles are analyzed considering two different in-motion-charging trolleybus penetration scenarios: in the first one, both conventional and in-motion-charging trolleybuses share the same route, while in the second one, the trolleybus power grid is employed solely by in-motion-charging trolleybuses. The results indicate that the partial power processing solution presents a better efficiency performance over the full power processing counterpart in the voltage range typically experienced by trolleybuses. Therefore, partial power processing realized with dual active bridge converters is deemed suitable for in-motion-charging trolleybus applications. L’attività bibliografica di Mariangelo Fiacchi e Pietro Canneti tra costruzione della Biblioteca Classense e commercio librario
No full textIl contributo fa luce sull’attività bibliografica dei camaldolesi Pietro Canneti (Cremona 1659 - Faenza 1730) e Mariangelo Fiacchi (Bologna 1688 - Ravenna 1777), ai quali si deve la fondazione della primigenia moderna Biblioteca Classense di Ravenna. Attraverso il carteggio intercorso tra loro, ancora oggi conservato presso la Biblioteca, si evince come la Biblioteca di quegli anni fosse ancora instabile nella sua raccolta bibliografica, quale gioco prediletto
del Canneti che non si preoccupa ancora di farne una istituzione con un autonomo futuro, come assicurerà invece ad essa il bibliotecario Fiacchi, ma una volta morto Canneti.
L’analisi delle lettere ha permesso, al tempo stesso, di fare luce su canali di acquisizione dei libri, pratiche di loro individuazione, criteri di valutazione e stima, prezzi di stampati e manoscritti, strategie di contrattazione d’acquisto, modalità di indicizzazione, circolazione dei cataloghi a stampa di biblioteche private e traffico librario con l’estero. Ne deriva un inquadramento effettivo e materiale del ruolo di spicco dei Camaldolesi, e in particolare della costruenda Biblioteca Classense, nel contesto bibliotecario e in quello del mercato editoriale e librario sei-settecentesco nel territorio di almeno tutto lo Stato Pontificio.The essay sheds light on the bibliographic activity of two monks Pietro Canneti (Cremona 1659 - Faenza 1730) and Mariangelo Fiacchi (Bologna 1688 - Ravenna 1777), who founded the original modern Classense Library in Ravenna. Through the correspondence between them, still preserved today at the Library, it is clear that the Library of those years was still unstable in its bibliographic collection, as a favorite game of Canneti who was not yet concerned with making it an institution with an autonomous future, as the librarian Fiacchi would instead assure it once Canneti died. The analysis of the letters has also shed light on the channels for acquiring books, the practices for identifying them, the criteria for evaluating and estimating them, the prices of printed books and
manuscripts, the strategies for negotiating purchases, the methods of indexing, the circulation of printed catalogues of private libraries, and the book traffic abroad. This provides an effective and material framework for the prominent role of the Camaldolese religious order, and in particular of the Classense Library, in the context of publishing and book market in the seventeenth-eighteenth century
and in the territory of the entire Papal State

No full textOBJECTS AND IMAGES OF VENICE FOR THE FOREIGNER
Venice is the only major Italian and European city to have completely transformed itself into a widespread resale of tourist objects, which have occupied the ground floor of buildings scattered along the routes of its visitors. This transformation took place in the 1980s, around the celebrations of a carnival that was all about the façade and very invasive for the city, with an exaggerated multiplication of shops for the sale of masks. The continuous increase in tourism, with the launch of low-cost airlines and buses, has penalized the trade of original products dedicated to tourists. Murano glass has been replaced by low-quality imported products. The attempt to increase the trade of tourist gadgets in museums does not change the relationship between the souvenir buyer and the increasingly inconsistent meaning of these materials. The massified tourist object is often that which imitates characteristic products of Venice and Murano, but now all produced in Asia. The Asian production of tourist gadgets at negligible costs imitates products available in other Italian cities of art, juxtaposed with simple references to Venice: magnets, T-shirts, caps stamped with the name of the city, the winged lion of San Marco, the silhouette of the gondola, fragments of images of the carnival. The Venetian urban space adapts almost completely to tourist promotion, as if it were a widespread museum, or even an amusement theme park, full of surprising suggestions and souvenirs to buy.
