Comparison of rest-break interventions during a mentally demanding task
Research is scarce on ways to enhance the effect of rest breaks during mentally demandingtasks. The present study investigated the effectiveness of two rest‐break interventionson well‐being during an academic lecture. Sixty‐six students (53 females, mean age22.5 years) enrolled in two different university classes of 4‐hr duration participatedin the study. Two measures of well‐being (fatigue and vigor) were assessed immediatelybefore, after, and 20 minutes after the break. A control condition without a breakas well as an unstructured break was compared with breaks either encompassing physicalactivity or a relaxation exercise. Compared with the nonbreak condition, the unstructuredrest break led to an increase in vigor, the exercise break as well as the relaxationbreak both to an increase in vigor and a decrease in fatigue at 20‐min post break.Compared with the unstructured break, exercise led to an (additional) increase invigor and relaxation to an (additional) decrease in fatigue at 20‐min post break. Thus, the effects of rest breaks during mentally demanding tasks can be enhanced byengaging in physical activity or relaxation exercises, with effects lasting at leastas long as 20 min into the continuation of the task.Gesundhei

Social media metrics and sentiment analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of social media posts
The present paper presents the results of an analysis of indicators underlying successful self-marketing techniques on social media. The participants included YouTube gamers. We focus on the content of their communication on Facebook to identify significant differences in terms of their user-generated Facebook metrics and commentary sentiments. Methodologically, ANOVA and sentiment analysis were applied. ANOVA of the classified post categories revealed that re-posted YouTube videos gained significantly fewer likes, comments, and shares from the audience. On the other hand, photos tended to show significantly more follower-generated actions compared to other post types in the sample. Sentiment analysis revealed underlying follower negativity when user-generated activity tended to be relatively low, offering valuable complementary results to the mere analysis of other post indicators, such as the number of likes, comments, and shares. The results indicated the necessity to utilize natural language processing techniques to optimize brand communication on social media and highlighted the importance of considering the opinion of the masses for better understanding of consumer feedback
Scrollytelling - An Analysis of Visual Storytelling in Online Journalism
Scrollytelling - the long-form of articles used in journalism - uses long, narrative types of text (e.g., report, feature) to tell complex stories. Scrollytelling articles published online often use multimedia content, especially information graphics which is a powerful tool to communicate complex information. This study investigates which types of infographics are used for visualizing complex data in long-form journalism published online. The analysis focusses on the utilization of infographics in scrollytelling and how infographics are integrated in long-form articles.Informationstechnologie und Informationsmanagemen
