In situ doped Cs2AgIn0.9Bi0.1Cl6:8 %Yb,2% Er/PVDF composite films for the printing of multimodal fluorescent anti-counterfeiting marks

    Get PDF
The fluorescent anti-counterfeiting technology has become one of the most desirable candidates in practical anticounterfeiting applications owing to its adjustable emission, high recognition and design flexibility. However, the security level of single emitting fluorescent materials was lower, and no longer able to cope with current forgery techniques, so the development of higher level multimodal fluorescent anti-counterfeiting technologies was urgent. In this report, lead-free double perovskite (DP) material CsAgBiCl6 was chosen as the host and a technique for in situ growth in polymer polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) was proposed to obtain large-scale high-quality Cs2AgBiCl6/PVDF composite films (CFs). Subsequently, the Cs2AgIn0.9Bi0.1Cl6:8%Yb,2%Er/PVDF CFs with both down-conversion and up-conversion optical properties was achieved by hybrid (In3+/Yb3+/Er3+) doping, which was able to displayed inconsistent fluorescence emission (orange and green) under different excitation sources, and their fluorescence intensities exhibited tunability with the change of the environmental temperature, greatly enhancing its competitiveness in the field of fluorescent anti-counterfeiting. Finally, different anti-counterfeiting marks have been designed by the screen-printing process, and the complex encryption once again ensured the security of the information, while bringing a new gospel to the subsequent development of lead-free DP materials

Advanced lead-free double perovskites/silica hybrid nanocrystals for highly stable light-emitting diodes

The commercial viability of fluorescent materials is critically contingent on their thermal stability. Recent interest has converged on lead-free double perovskites (DPs), renowned for their optical properties mirroring those of traditional lead-based counterparts and superior atmospheric stability. However, these materials encounter significant fluorescence degradation in thermal environments, a challenging scenario given the high tem- peratures endemic to the surfaces of optoelectronic devices during prolonged operation, detrimentally impact- ing the fluorescent attributes of lead-free DPs. To address this challenge, in situ synthesis of lead-free DP nanocrystals (NCs) within KIT-6 mesoporous molecular sieves is proposed, yielding Cs2AgIn0.98Bi0.02Cl6@KIT-6 NCs with enhanced optical qualities. Experimental results demonstrate a marked enhancement in the fluorescence thermal stability of these NCs, attributed to the protective KIT-6 shell layer. Subjected to high power operation (100 mA) for 270 minutes, the fabricated orange light-emitting diode (LED) device maintained 80% of initial luminous efficiency, despite the resultant elevated surface temperature of 326.8 K. Therefore, this novel in situ assembly approach significantly bolsters the operational stability of lead-free DPs, paving the way for their potential commercial applications

Electric near-field scanning for electronic PCB electromagnetic radiation measurement

    Get PDF
This paper introduces a design and test of an electric (E) near-field scanning (NFS) system by using innovative 4- layer miniature probe for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) application. The probe works in the challenging frequency band up to 12 GHz with spatial resolution lower than 2 mm. The NFS is designed to operate by automation based on PC driven by LabVIEW® interface controlling a vector network analyzer (VNA). The PC communicates with the VNA through the local area network to read and save the measured data emitted by the device under test (DUT). The LabVIEW® interface is designed to control the E-NF positioning motion core by means of STM32® microcontroller. A stepper motor is used to move the E-NF probe along the scanning surface plan. Finally, the NFS is validated by visualizing the E-NF intensity maps generated in real time after calibration with a reference device under test represented by microstrip line and a microwave circuit
