Ontological Approach to Describing the Interaction of Information Processes in Intelligent Systems

    Get PDF
The paper considers an ontological approach to describing the interaction of information processes in intelligent systems. A hierarchical family of ontologies is proposed that investigate both fundamental aspects of representing temporal entities in knowledge bases of intelligent systems and higher-level aspects related to describing the interaction of information processes. The hierarchy of such processes from the processes performed within the hardware platform to the processes of problem solving within a distributed system of agents is considered. Approaches to synchronization of such processes are considered. Special attention is paid to the ontology of spatio-temporal entities, which specifies the semantics of concepts describing changes in various entities in time, such as events, situations, cause-and-effect relations, and so on. Of the three levels of information processes, the paper discusses in the most detail the lower level related to the interpretation of information processes within the hardware platform. Two approaches to organizing of the such interpretation are considered

Role of electrode temperature in anodic growth of sulfuric acid alumina films

    Get PDF
Studies of the self-organized growth of nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) films and anodization parameters have been the subject of decades of research and various theories. At the same time, temperature, being one of the most important parameters in anodizing treatments of aluminum, has been investigated only as a function of electrolyte temperature. This paper presents the results of studying the growth kinetics and morphology of AAO formed by anodization processes in 1 M H2SO4 at different anode temperatures. The activation energy of ionic conductivity for AAO determined in this study was 0.41 eV for sulfuric acid, which was greater than the activation energy of 0.34 eV for oxalic acid. The effect of anode temperature on the pore diameter (dpore) and the interpore distance (Dinter) was studied. It was demonstrated that in the temperature range from 10 to 40 °C, the dpore and Dinter did not change with the anode temperature, with values equal to 12.5 ± 0.1 nm and 52.5 ± 0.2 nm, respectively. However, when the anode (aluminum) temperature was increased to 60 °C, the dpore increased to 16 nm. The results obtained show that by increasing the temperature of the anode from 20 to 40 °C, it is possible to increase the ionic conductivity of AAO and thus achieve a greater than threefold increase in the the rate of AAO growth, without altering the porous morphology of the anodic films

Алгоритмы однонаправленной передачи данных в компьютерных сетях

    Get PDF

A Micro-Airflow Sensor System Enabled by Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Lab Safety and Human–Computer Interaction

    Get PDF
The airflow sensor enabled by triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) is significant for intelligent lab safety and human–computer interaction applications. However, the reported airflow/wind sensor focuses on enhancing the sensing materials and structures, lack of high resolution, and smart signal analysis. Herein, we present a self-powered micro-airflow sensor and its artificial intelligence (AI) system, applied for lab safety and human–computer interaction. The as-fabricated sensor has a high sensitivity of 0.6258 μA /(m/s) and a linearity of 0.9968. Attributing to the Venturi effect, the minimum detection velocity of the sensor is 0.13 m/s. Given the sensor performance, we develop a real-time pipeline gas leak location system with an AI user interface, which achieves a potential low detect error ≤2.9 cm. In addition, we successfully explore other applications, including human exit–entry counting, ventilation alarm, and breath-based smart aid communication. Above all, the airflow sensor exhibits tremendous potential in the AI and Internet of Things

Solderability of Materials and Electronic Components

    Get PDF
The concept of solderability is rigorously defined, accompanied by the proposal of quantitative criteria for its assessment. A comprehensive categorization of solderable materials into three distinct groups - namely, easily solderable, moderately solderable, and unsolderable - is proposed based on solderability parameters. Practical recommendations are given for the effective deployment of solderability testing methodologies across a spectrum of materials and electronic components. Detailed expositions are offered on the methods employed in the evaluation of solderability, encompassing solder immersion, measurement of solder spreading area, and assessment of capillary penetration into gaps. Schematic representations of these evaluation techniques, alongside descriptions of the requisite apparatus for their implementation, are presented. Furthermore, tabulated data on the solder spreading factors for diverse categories of chemical and electroplated coatings, including hot tinning, are given. Prolonged storage may lead to the formation of oxide films on the surface of coatings, thereby deteriorating solderability. To enhance the quality of electroplated coatings, it is recommended to employ periodic currents in nonstationary electrolysis modes during the deposition of electroplated coatings
