    Cet article interroge les modes de création de profit par les acteurs économiques à travers le cas des promoteurs immobiliers. En reconstituant l’histoire d’un grand projet de centre commercial en France et en confrontant cet historique aux documents comptables prévisionnels rédigés par le promoteur, nous montrons que, contrairement à ce que prévoient les approches marxistes centrées sur l’exploitation des valeurs foncières, le profit s’inscrit avant tout dans un travail de qualification du bien immobilier. Le projet est un système d’acteurs que le promoteur tente de coordonner en intégrant les attentes de ses interlocuteurs stratégiques (élus locaux, locataires, investisseurs) dans les propriétés des édifices qu’il conçoit.     The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm promises to connect billions of objects in an Internet-like structure. Applications composed from connected objects in the IoT are expected to have a huge impact in the transportation and logistics, healthcare, smart environments, and personal and social domains. The world of things is much more complex, dynamic, mobile, and failure prone than the world of computers, with contexts changing rapidly and unpredictably. The growing complexity of IoT applications will be unmanageable, and will hamper the creation of new services and applications, unless the systems will show “self-*” functionality such as self-management, self-healing and self-configuration. The Web of Things (WoT) builds on top of the IoT to create applications composed of smart things relying on standard and well-known Web technologies.     Dominance Rules for the Choquet Integral in Multiobjective Dynamic Programming

    Multiobjective Dynamic Programming (MODP) is a general problem solving method used to determine the set of Pareto-optimal solutions in optimization problems involving discrete decision variables and multiple objectives. It applies to combinatorial problems in which Pareto-optimality of a solution extends to all its sub-solutions (Bellman principle). In this paper we focus on the determination of the preferred tradeoffs in the Pareto set where preference is measured by a Choquet integral. This model provides high descriptive possibilities but the associated preferences generally do not meet the Bellman principle, thus preventing any straightforward adaptation of MODP. To overcome this difficulty, we introduce here a general family of dominance rules enabling an early pruning of some Pareto-optimal sub-solutions that cannot lead to a Choquet optimum. Within this family, we identify the most efficient dominance rules and show how they can be incorporated into a MODP algorithm. Then we report numerical tests showing the actual efficiency of this approach to find Choquet-optimal tradeoffs in multiobjective knapsack problems.nonouirechercheInternationa

    Bidirectional Preference-based Search for Multiobjective State Space Graph Problems

    In multiobjective state space graph problems, each solution-path is evaluated by a cost vector. These cost vectors can be partially or completely ordered using a preference relation compatible with Pareto dominance. In this context, multiobjective preference-based search (MOPBS) aims at computing the preferred feasible solutions according to a predefined preference model, these preferred solutions being a subset (possibly the entire set) of Pareto optima. Standard algorithms for MOPBS perform a unidirectional search developing the search tree forward from the initial state to a goal state. Instead, in this paper, we focus on bidirectional search algorithms developing simultaneously one forward and one backward search tree. Although bi-directional search has been tested in various single objective problems, its efficiency in a multiobjective setting has never been studied. In this paper, we present several implementations of bidirectional preference-based search convenient for the multiobjective case and investigate their efficiency.nonouirechercheInternationa
