ACADEMICS’ TEACHING PRACTICES: RESULTS FROM A QUESTIONNAIRE AT UNIVERSITY OF TRENTOAbstractThe paper presents a survey conducted by the TLC of the University of Trento aimed at identifying the teaching methodologies adopted by professors, detected through a questionnaire designed starting from Bonaiuti’s teaching architecture framework (2021). Respondents were asked to reply specifying teaching methodologies applied in bachelor, master and single-cycle courses and declaring their interest in exploring different teaching strategies. The analyses highlight a not yet widespread use of active teaching strategies and formative evaluation methods, underlining some differentiations and guiding the design of educational development of the TLC

Patrimoine et enjeux de développement des petits centres ruraux: exemple du centre d’Ighoud

AbstractHeritage and Development Issues in Small Rural Centres: Example of the Centre of IghoudSmall rural centers are the territories most neglected by the various multi-scalar development plans and strategies. They have remained, like many territories, completely invisible to conventional development instruments in Morocco. The Ighoud center constitutes an exception, in fact, following a triggering event, the discovery of the Man of Jbel Ighoud, a new form of public action was initiated, namely the agreement to upgrade the center and its site archaeological. How is the political dimension achieved for a small rural center? Is top-down public action sufficient to ensure genuine territorial development

ABSTRACTThe tetrarch and his mother. Romula between Galerius’ promotional strategyand political actionThe aim of this paper is to highlight how the memory of Romula, mother of the tetrarch Galerius, does not have an autonomous character, but draws attention only if linked to her son, a man with an exceptional destiny: the scanty information about the woman, drawn from a few literary sources, among which a prominent place is occupied by Lactantius, is in fact functional in clarifying aspects of the character and politics of the future Caesar and later Augustus. A portrait is emerging from the sources is therefore now of Romula/Semele, now of Romula/Olympiad: her traits are stereotyped, built on the basis of rhetorical or historiographical tradition, which drew on both the myth of the twins and that of Alexander the Great with regard to Augustus’ birth

GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN EDUCATION. THE «COUNSELORBOT» PROJECT FOR TUTORIAL SUPPORTAbstractArtificial intelligence (AI) is progressively entering educational practices, influencing teaching and learning methodologies. Its use raises issues of various kinds – educational, methodological-didactic, and ethical – highlighting risks such as discrimination, increasing technological dependency, and the uncontrolled generation of inaccurate and hardly recognizable content due to biases in datasets. The European Union, through the AI Act, has classified the use of AI in education as «high risk», emphasizing the importance of a cautious and responsible approach. This article analyzes the opportunities offered by AI and the strategies to mitigate its risks, examines the AI Act, and presents the «Counselor-Bot» project, a concrete example of an application designed to support students in their educational and career guidance paths

Dismantling Human Supremacy: Ecopedagogy and Self-Rewilding as Pathways to Embodied Ethics and Cross-Species Solidarity

This paper examines the urgent need for a transformative shift in environmental ethics education, specifically challenging the pervasive ideology of human supremacy that shapes contemporary pedagogical approaches. Following ecopedagogy and the critical pedagogy movements, it critiques current educational frameworks that implicitly reinforce human dominance over the more-than-human world. The paper explores the ethical consequences of disembodied, humancentered education, which alienates students from ecological realities and perpetuates environmental degradation and social inequities. In response to these challenges, the paper proposes an alternative ethical framework grounded in cross-species solidarity, relational ethics, and embodied learning. Utilizing approaches such as wild pedagogy and self-rewilding, it emphasizes the importance of immersive, hands-on educational practices that cultivate empathy, multispecies kinship, and ecological consciousness. By fostering these connections, the paper advocates for a reimagined education system that not only dismantles human supremacy but also nurtures more just, regenerative relationships between humans, other-than-human species, and ecosystems. This reorientation in environmental ethics pedagogy offers a critical pathway to confronting the interconnected ecological, social, and cultural crises of our time, while promoting long-term multispecies justice and ecological flourishing

AbstractContamination between Pragmatic and Enunciative Phenomena in French Political Discourse: An Analysis of RN Flyers (2018-2024)The present research deals with the analysis of strategies of reporting speech used by the French political party Rassemblement National (RN) and its leaders in 28 flyers published between 2018 and 2024. Its methodology is based on the pragma-enunciative tendency of the Analyse du Discours de l’école Française (ADF), namely on the works by J. Authier-Revuz about heterogeneity in discourse, by P. Charaudeau on French political discourse, namely populist discourse, and on D. Maingueneau about discourse genres and the flyer’s mise en scène. Reporting other people proposals will be analysed by considering two strategies: “modalisation du dire en assertion seconde” and “allusion” (Authier-Revuz 2012, 2020). It will be shown that, thanks to their iconotextual part, flyers allow to give more visibility to the elements which are put into evidence and that this objective is also reached by reported speech strategies which are used. The aim of this study will be to look at these strategies and at RN and Marine Le Pen’s purposes which lie behind them in order to confirm whether they prove that this party and its leaders show, apart from apparent changes, a right-far ideology which is enriched with a violent language

L’argumentation dans la langue et dans le discours: croisements théoriques entre phénomènes linguistiques et discursifs

AbstractArgumentation in the Language-System and Argumentation in Discourse: Theoretical Intersections between Linguistic and Discursive PhenomenaThe great theoretical distance that separates argumentation dans la langue (J.-C. Anscombre, O. Ducrot, M. Carel) from argumentation dans le discours (R. Amossy) lies in the fact that the former argumentation school studies semantic orientations. In other words, it defends a semantic description of natural languages from which context is excluded. Each utterance orients, carries conclusions, and this orientation is part of its meaning. Argumentation dans le discours embraces, conversely, a communicative approach that implies a response, a theoretical position attentive to discursive genres, the persuasive and interdiscursive dimensions of the speech. Our contribution aims to highlight the most obvious points of divergence between these two theoretical and methodological schools through the prism of French discourse analysis. To this end, we will understand the pragmatic foundation of argumentation. Both approaches are then related through the analysis of the same examples in an effort to make them dialogue in a way that is intended to be fruitful for the teaching of argumentative theories

Per verba, per gesta et per imagines. Agrippine l’Ancienne, un exemple de communication politique

ABSTRACTPer verba, per gesta et per imagines. Agrippina the Elder, an example of politicalcommunicationCommunication has always been a fundamental element in fostering relationships and interactions within societies. In the Roman world, messages were conveyed through a variety of mediums and addressed to heterogeneous social groups. Ancient sources reveal the significant role of gestures, particularly when used by women in contexts traditionally inaccessible to them. Agrippina the Elder, a central figure in the dynastic politics of Augustus and Tiberius, navigated the constraints of the mos maiorum to influence publicand military affairs. Through her gestural and emotional interventions, she demonstrated the capacity of women to shape collective sentiments and support dynastic legitimacy, thereby challenging traditional gendered boundaries in Roman public life.
