Spanish Adaptation and Psychometric Properties of the Protective Behavioral Strategies for Marijuana Scale: The Protective Behavioral Strategies for Cannabis Scale (S‑PBSC)
The Protective Behavioral Strategies for Marijuana scale (PBSM) was initially developed
using samples of university students in USA. A community sample of Spanish young
adults was recruited to provide the Spanish full-length and short versions of the Protective
Behavioral Strategies for Cannabis use (S-PBSC; S-PBSC-SF). We followed a rigorous
item-selection process to select the most relevant items from the original 50-item pool
developed by Pedersen et al. (2016), on the basis of evidence of reliability, evidence of
validity according to the internal structure (factor loadings, invariance across genders and
university status, and differential item functioning [DIF]), and evidence of validity based
on the relationships between S-PBSC scores and cannabis outcomes. Our findings support
a 31-item unidimensional measure and a 13-item short form with excellent fit and internal
consistency, invariant across genders and college status and free of DIF. Both the S-PBSC
and S-PBSC-SF scores were associated with reduced cannabis use and consequences.Funding for open access publishing: Universidad de Huelva/CBUA This work was funded by

Identification of Both Distortion and Imbalance Sources in Electrical Installations: A Comparative Assessment
Electric power quality is becoming more critical with time because of the increasing use of electronic devices in all areas of society: in industry, in the household, etc. Many kinds of disturbances can be produced in the grid due to external or internal causes, such as, for example, switching operations. Among them, distortion and imbalance are long-term disturbances, which makes them very dangerous for electric equipment. In addition, the identification of the distortion and/or imbalance sources is quite difficult because they are instantaneously scattered by the grid. This paper presents a study of the algorithms published in the technical literature which identify distortion and imbalance sources in electrical installations and compares the results of applying them to a specific installation constituted by linear and non-linear, balanced and unbalanced loads, and a standard module to inject energy to the grid. Only two algorithms have been found in the review carried out and the results provided by both are presented and discussed. Neither of these algorithms is completely reliable, although one of them is more promising. This paper is framed in the project “Development of a system based on Industrial IoT for
the analysis of electrical power in power systems” funded by the European Commission (EU), the

Co-Creation in Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education: Lessons from Business–University Educational Partnerships
The world is facing numerous ecological challenges that require urgent attention. Interventions from policymakers and universities are becoming more frequent in order to facilitate the transition of society into a more sustainable world. This paper presents lessons learned from sustainable entrepreneurship education activities developed at the northernmost University of Applied Sciences in Europe that involved important business stakeholders in the local environment. The educational process aims to equip students with the skills necessary to develop new ideas and entrepreneurial projects that provide innovative solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges. It also promotes the sustainable transformation of local businesses and society through partnerships and collaborations. Two main questions guided the presentation of the case: How can students, professors, business managers/workers, and government officials collaborate to develop sustainable entrepreneurial ideas and what are the pros and cons of co-creating in the context of sustainable entrepreneurship education? The teaching–learning experience showed that addressing real, local business problems collaboratively and adopting the principles of the co-creation of knowledge can lead to sustainable solutions and experiential learning and contribute to transforming societies towards sustainability. The lessons learned can illuminate future adaptations and applications in other universities. The authors express their gratitude for the financial support provided for this article. This

Energy Resolution from a Silicon Detector’s Interstrip Regions
In this work, we present a novel approach for improving the energy resolution from particles impinging on the interstrip regions of silicon strip detectors. We employed three double-sided strip detectors from the GRIT array and a triple α-source under laboratory conditions. The results showed that the interstrip resolution depends not only on the impinging side but also on whether it is a P- or an N-interstrip. We obtained the interstrip energy resolution down to 0.4%, and, depending on the scenario, the resolution was enhanced by a factor of 2. We believe that this new rotation method allows for the possibility of applying particle identification methods on interstrip events, which in most cases are dismissed during data recording. This researchwas partially funded by the EU and Junta de Andalucía, grant number P20-00764.Ingeniería Eléctrica y Térmica, de Diseño y Proyecto
From the Mountain and the Sea: Provenance of the Stones of the Prehistoric La Pastora Tholos (Valencina de la Concepción, Seville, Spain)
La Pastora tholos is the most complete and characteristic megalithic monument of the Valencina
de la Concepción‐Castilleja de Guzmán mega‐site. This monument was built using three
types of rock, each with different functions and coming from three different places: Paleozoic
quartzarenite, granite, and Tertiary calcareous sandstone. A detailed petrological study of the rocks
of the tholos and outcrops of similar rocks in the surroundings has been carried out, locating the
possible source areas in areas at least 30 km to the N of the monument for the quartzarenite, 15 km
for the granite, and 15 km to the S for the sandstone. Therefore, the community that built the monument has a high knowledge of the nature by, which allows them to locate these resources, and a sufficient social organization to exploit them and move them to the mega‐site. In this sense, the
layout of the outcrops suggests the possible use of boats or rafts to facilitate their displacement, or
at least part of their movement. This research was funded by EPIT‐2020 of the University of Huelva (Proyectos IP Noveles 636). Other funds have come from the Andalusian Government (group RNM‐293). Prenatal Stress as a Risk Factor for Maternal–Foetal Morbidity: A Longitudinal Study
Pregnancy is one of the most complex periods in a woman’s life, not only because of the
biological changes involved but also because of the psychological aspects. Stress during pregnancy
refers to the concerns and distress that arise during pregnancy and that can be assessed by means
of psychological and physiological scales. The aim of this study was to analyse prenatal stress
and to evaluate its consequences on the health of both the mother and the foetus. A descriptive
longitudinal study was carried out on a sample of 398 pregnant women being followed up during
their entire pregnancy, who gave birth at the Punta de Europa University Hospital in Algeciras
(Spain) between September 2021 and August 2023. The Prenatal Distress Questionnaire (PDQ) was used, as well as serum cortisol levels in each trimester of pregnancy and birth experience using the Childbirth Experience Questionnaire in its validated Spanish version, CEQ-E. Demographic and
obstetric variables were included. One of the main findings was that experiencing more stress in
late pregnancy had a negative impact on obstetric outcomes. Women who had higher levels of
prenatal distress had higher blood cortisol levels and increased risk of having a caesarean section at delivery. A significant negative correlation was also found between stress and Apgar test values in the first minute of life. It is concluded that interventions promoted by the health system that provide comprehensive prenatal care contribute to decreased stress as perceived by these pregnant women, thus reducing the risk of maternal and foetal morbidity.Departamento de Biología Ambiental y Salud Públic
Literary education and social networks. Analysis of scientific production in Spanish
In recent years, social networks have become the most common spaces for interaction and
communication, especially for young people, and have influenced the way young people express
themselves. Consequently, authors, Literature, teaching practices and other related habits are also affected.
The aim of this paper is to analyse the scientific production in specialised journals at national level,
indexed in Dialnet, in relation to literature and social networks, from 2016 to the present. The purpose
of this study is to identify practices linked to literary education in the Spanish educational context,
determining relevant aspects of these practices. To this end, a systematic selection methodology is applied,
using PRISMA standards and content analysis. The results show the scarcity of studies on the subject
despite the increasingly widespread use of networks. The results highlight the need for training and
literacy and prove the use of networks as resources in Secondary education, in practices related to
literature, reading and creative writing. Of particular note are the experiences with YouTube for the
promotion of reading and writing and storytelling using Instagram and Twitter.Proyecto I+D “Youtubers e Instagramers: La competencia mediática en los prosumidores

Variables with a negative impact on the quality of life of gays and lesbians in Spain: evaluation of homophobic and lesbophobic indicators to guide youth education
Background: Despite the evidence about the negative impact of homophobic and lesbophobic attitudes on the quality of life of these individuals, the World Health Organisation (WHO) continues to report a lack of research and understanding regarding the health of gays and lesbians and LGTB people in general. There is a growing commitment in public health to understand and improve the health and well-being of LGTB people, and it is very important that professionals in social, educational and health care settings are adequately trained and informed to solve the problems that persist in this population. The aim of this study was to identify homophobic and lesbophobic attitudes in a Spanish youth population, analyzing the relationship of these attitudes with sociodemographic, cultural, political and personal variables.
Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out with 325 young people aged 18–30 years. The information was collected through the Modern Homophobia Scale of Raja & Stokes, in which sociodemographic and sociocultural variables were also gathered. The data were analyzed and correlations were estimated.
Results: The males showed a more negative attitude toward homosexual people compared to the females. The participants with a higher education level presented more positive attitudes toward homosexual people. Younger people with a heterosexual orientation had more negative attitudes toward homosexual people compared to those with a homosexual orientation. The participants with a stronger right-wing political tendency presented a greater percentage of negative attitudes toward LGTB people.
Conclusion: Variables such as education level, sexual orientation and political ideology may have a significant influence on the attitudes toward homosexual men and/or lesbian women. Different results were obtained as a function of sex, thus it is important to consider the gender perspective in future studies that tackle this topic.Sociología, Trabajo Social y Salud Públic
