L’interpellazione del rifugiato: tra Pedagogia critica e dispositivi ideologici di soggettivazione
Il contributo affronta, da una prospettiva di pedagogia critica, la tensione strutturale e contraddittoria (Althusser, 2008) che emerge nei contesti di migrazione forzata, in particolare nei soggetti definiti a livello normativo rifugiati politici. Questa definizione è carica di significati impliciti, poiché richiama una condizione di vulnerabilità, bisogno di aiuto e protezione. Si manifesta così la presenza di un dispositivo implicito (Massa, 1986) che reifica i rapporti di subalternità, in cui il diritto e le istituzioni operano come apparati ideologici che interpellano il rifugiato (Althusser, 1997) quale esistenza da amministrare e gestire (Agamben, 1995-2015; Balibar, 2019) e naturalizzandone l’esclusione (Balibar, 2012). La tolleranza, in questo quadro, non è un principio di riconoscimento, ma un dispositivo di esclusione mascherata, che accetta l’altro solo nella misura in cui resta in posizione subordinata (Bianchi, D’Antone, 2024). Emerge così la necessità di istituire setting educativi (Dozza, 2000) capaci di problematizzare il tema della resistenza, intesa sia come opposizione a un’autorità sia come chiusura al cambiamento, nell’ottica di promuovere spazi di incontro autentici (Giroux, 2022) evitando fenomeni di colonizzazione pedagogica (Bianchi, 2019).The contribution, from a critical pedagogy perspective, addresses the structural and contradictory tension (Althusser, 2008) that emerges in contexts of forced migration, particularly concerning individuals normatively defined as political refugees. This definition carries implicit meanings, as it evokes a condition of vulnerability, need for help, and protection. This reveals the presence of an implicit dispositive (Massa, 1986) that reifies subaltern relations, in which law and institutions function as ideological apparatuses, interpellating the refugee (Althusser, 1997) as an existence to be administered and managed (Agamben, 1995-2015; Balibar, 2019), thereby naturalizing their exclusion (Balibar, 2012). Tolerance, in this framework, is not a principle of recognition but rather a masked exclusionary dispositive, which accepts the other only insofar as they remain in a subordinate position (Bianchi, D’Antone, 2024). This underscores the need to establish educational settings (Dozza, 2000) capable of problematizing resistance, understood both as opposition to authority and reluctance to change, in order to promote genuine spaces of encounter (Giroux, 2022) and avoid practices of pedagogical colonization (Bianchi, 2019)

Drug-Induced Sarcoid-like Reactions Associated to Targeted Therapies and Biologic Agents
Background: Sarcoidosis is a multisystem inflammatory disease characterized by immune-mediated formation of non-necrotizing epithelioid granulomas. Several commonly used medications can induce similar granulomatous reactions, known as drug-induced sarcoid-like reactions (DISRs), which closely mimic sarcoidosis. Despite their specificity in targeting molecular pathways, certain therapies - particularly targeted treatments—have increasingly been linked to DISRs.
Methods: This narrative review is based on a PubMed search using the terms "SARCOID LIKE REACTION" and "DRUG". A cross-check was performed with “SARCOID” combined with each identified drug to identify misclassified cases. Drugs with limited evidence or weak pathogenetic plausibility were excluded, leaving only molecularly targeted therapies for consideration. Sources included case reports, case series, and reviews selected based on their clinical and scientific relevance, without any restrictions on time or language.
Results: The drugs associated with DISRs were categorized into five
pharmacological groups: immune checkpoint inhibitors, TNF-α antagonists, BRAF inhibitors, monoclonal antibodies, and miscellaneous agents. Each group has distinct mechanisms of action and clinical indications, which likely affect the frequency, presentation, and timing of DISRs.
Conclusions: Diagnosing DISRs is challenging, and a structured approach is crucial for differentiating them from other conditions. To support clinicians, we propose a diagnostic algorithm to guide decision-making in suspected cases. Management should be individualized, as most DISRs either resolve spontaneously or improve after the discontinuation of the causative drug. Important factors influencing therapeutic decisions include the severity of the underlying disease, the availability of alternative treatments, and the extent of DISR manifestations
Cam deformity of the hip and personal identification of unidentified remains: two case reports of forensic anthropological interest
Cam-type deformity of the hip is a morphological change at the femoral head–neck junction, caused by abnormal contact with the acetabulum during hip flexion. It can result from both pathological conditions and repetitive physical stress. Case presentation study examines skeletal remains of two individuals, Subjects A and B, both showing signs of cam-type deformity. Subject A exhibited osteogenesis imperfecta of the sternum, degenerative arthritis in the thoracic vertebrae and patellae, and partial fusion of adjacent vertebral bodies with hyperostosis. These findings suggest diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH), which likely caused altered gait mechanics and uneven weight distribution, contributing to the deformity. Subject B showed bilateral Achilles enthesopathy and early patellar hyperostosis, indicating a history of intense physical activity. The cam-type deformity in this case was attributed to overuse syndrome. Cam-type deformities can arise from distinct causes, including systemic pathology and mechanical overuse. Recognizing such skeletal changes can offer valuable insights into an individual’s health and activity history, supporting efforts in forensic identification

Il saggio si propone una prima lettura delle finalità e dell’oggetto della L. 15 maggio 2025, n. 76 recante Disposizioni per la partecipazione dei lavoratori alla gestione, al capitale e agli utili delle imprese. Obiettivo del contributo è verificare se la nuova normativa sia effettivamente diretta a dare attuazione, dopo quasi ottanta anni di attesa, all’articolo 46 della Costituzione. Una attenzione particolare viene prestata alle posizioni delle parti sociali emerse nel dibattito parlamentare che ha condotto alla approvazione della legge e alle sue possibili linee di sviluppo rispetto sia al campo di applicazione della legge stessa sia rispetto alla prassi del nostro sistema di relazioni industriali
The Role of Circular Economy in Reducing Corporate Default Probability: Insights from Recent Research
Circular economy (CE) practices significantly enhance financial performance by increasing resource efficiency, reducing costs, and bolstering corporate reputation. By reducing waste and maximizing resource use, companies can decrease costs and improve operational efficiency, thus directly enhancing their financial health. CE practices such as emission reduction and resource recycling not only lower production costs but they also mitigate regulatory and environmental liabilities, leading to a direct decrease in credit risk and an improvement in corporate financial stability. Within this frame, the integration of digital technologies has transformed traditional business models into more agile and efficient circular e-business models. These advancements facilitate real-time resource flow optimization, scaling CE practices effectively across global supply chains, thereby enhancing companies’ Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance and reducing their credit risk by lowering default probability. Moreover, government structures and firm characteristics like size and ownership significantly influence the effectiveness of CE practices. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) often face unique challenges in implementing CE due to their concentrated ownership structures and short-term needs. However, strong governance frameworks can help overcome these barriers by ensuring robust resource management and fostering a culture of sustainability. In conclusion, by adopting CE strategies such as waste reduction, product life extension, and closed-loop supply chains, firms can significantly enhance their ESG profiles, increasing investor confidence and lowering the cost of capital. Companies with high circularity scores, reflecting comprehensive adherence to CE principles and strong ESG performance, have been shown to have a reduced default probability compared to less sustainable counterparts
Quantum resonances crossing and survival amplitude for double-well potentials
In the case of crossings of isolated pairs of quantum resonances for double-well potentials it is possible to observe that, under appropriate conditions, the associated metastable states are equally localized on both wells. This property, together with the fact that the imaginary parts of the two resonances coincide, results in the establishment of an interference phenomenon between the two metastable states that characterizes the time dynamics of certain physical observables. In this way, it is possible to lay the theoretical foundations for the design of a quantum device to assess whether or not the model's parameters assume pre-assigned values
Central Nervous System Infections Caused by Bacillus Calmette-Guerin: Case Report and Narrative Literature Review
: Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) central nervous system (CNS) infections are one of the rarest complications following BCG exposure. A 77-year-old male, with bladder cancer previously treated with BCG instillation, presented with fever, confusion, and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) consistent with encephalitis one month after the last BCG instillation. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) showed marked hypoglycorrhachia, hyperproteinorrachia, and lymphocytic pleocytosis. Despite CSF culture negativity, the presentation was considered suggestive of BCG-related encephalitis, and the empirical standard antitubercular treatment (rifampin, isoniazid and ethambutol), plus dexamethasone, was initiated. Following initial improvement, gait ataxia and hemiplegia were observed at the 4-month follow-up. MRI revealed an excluded enlarged left lateral ventricle with signs of ventriculitis, requiring surgical drainage. CSF collected during neurosurgery resulted positive on PCR for M. tuberculosis complex. Adjunctive linezolid was initiated, replaced by levofloxacin due to adverse events after 2 weeks. The patient was discharged following a normal CSF analysis. Oral antitubercular therapy was prescribed for 14 months and there were no signs of relapse at the 24-month follow-up. Previously, 16 cases of CNS BCGitis have been reported, without any cases of clinical relapse during antitubercular treatment. Furthermore, our study reports the use of linezolid as a 4th antitubercular drug for CNS BCGitis
Random forest-based bioavailable strontium isoscape for environmental and archaeological applications in central eastern Argentina and western Uruguay
Bioavailable strontium (Sr) isoscapes are essential tools in studies on environmental processes, animal and human mobility and provenance. The success of these studies relies on the comparison between the measured 87Sr/86Sr isotope ratios of specimens and the spatial distribution of environmental bioavailable Sr isotopic signatures across geographical regions. A critical step of this process is the construction of reference maps that integrate environmental Sr isotopic data with geographical information. Here, we present a new bioavailable Sr dataset of 113 environmental samples, including plants and malacological samples collected from center-east Argentina (Paraná Delta, Pampa and Entre Ríos plains) as well as adjacent Uruguay, covering an area of approximately 122,500 km2. This dataset is further integrated with archaeological bioapatite data from the literature to construct the first random forest-based Sr isoscape of the region. Notably this area is on recent Quaternary (fluvial, marine and aeolian) sediments derived from the erosion of magmatic and metamorphic terrains with different Sr isotope composition from low 87Sr/86Sr ratios (about 0.706) to highly radiogenic signatures (>0.71), and heterogeneously transported in the Delta area by the rivers and in the high plains by wind and rivers. This isoscape offers a unique perspective on the Sr isotope distribution in a lithologically homogeneous region characterized by relatively young sedimentary sequences. This work represents a significant advancement in the development of Sr isoscapes, providing a fundamental tool for environmental and archaeological applications in South America
