Classification methods based on k-logistic models
Logistic regression is a simple yet effective technique widely used in machine learning with applications spanning various scientific fields. In this paper, we introduce new logistic regression models based on the k-exponential function derived from k-statistical theory, which approaches the standard exponential function as its parameter k tends to zero. We propose models for both binary and multivariate classification, demonstrating that they extend traditional logistic regression while maintaining the same computational complexity as conventional logistic classifiers. Computational experiments on diverse benchmark data sets show that our k-logistic classifiers outperform standard logistic regression models in the vast majority of cases
PER UN’ARCHEOLOGIA DEI CORPI RESISTENTI E DELL’UMANITÀ CHE RI-ESISTE: RILEGGERE MAINE DE BIRAN
2025 marked the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, as well as the pivotal role played by resistance movements in liberating Italy and Europe from Nazism and Fascism. To address the topic, this article proposes an “archaeology of resistance”, based on the idea that resistance, as a political phenomenon, is rooted in the body’s innate resistance. To illustrate this concept, the article references the work of Maine de Biran, who argued that the ‘ego’ is inseparable from the resistant body, and that resistance takes the form of ‘re-existence’, centred on a politics of embodied humanity — the very essence of resistance
Alle origini di un nuovo ambito di ricerca nel settore storico-educativo: genesi ed evo-luzione della Società Italiana per lo Studio del Patrimonio Storico-Educativo
This paper focuses on the interest that educational heritage has attracted within Italian historical-educational research, as well as within national and international museums and associations. Within this framework, the article reconstructs the reasons that led to the institution of the Italian Society for the Study of Historical-Educational Heritage (SIPSE) and the early years of activity of this new society. During these early years, SIPSE has carved out an active role in the research on, protection, and dissemination of educational heritage, establishing solid connections not only with the Italian and international scientific community, but also with various sectors of civil society concerned in various ways with the cultural heritage of education
EducH-ART: Arts meet Educational Heritage for Inclusion
The project addresses the need for cultural and educational institutions in Europe to evolve in response to current social challenges and changing audiences. It focuses on underused forms of heritage and explores how they can be activated in more inclusive, participatory and creative ways, with particular attention to younger generations. Through collaboration between organizations from the cultural, educational and research sectors, the project will experiment with new ways of using heritage to foster equality, inclusion, social cohesion, sustainability and young people’s well-being, while supporting the digital transition. The work will result in transferable approaches, formats and tools that can be adapted by different institutions and contexts, strengthening international cooperation and positioning heritage as a resource for cultural and social innovation
Digitales Storytelling in der Museumskommunikation. Funktional-formale Analyse und Auswirkungen für die DaF-Didaktik
The paper begins with a discussion of the characteristics of knowledge transfer in museums, emphasising the key role of digital storytelling. This is followed by an introduction to the design and structure of the KHM Stories application of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, an example of which is analysed from a functional and formal point of view.
Finally, suggestions are presented for integrating digital museum narration into the
teaching and learning of German as a foreign language, with the aim of promoting a
multimodal form of learning
