Assessing Middle School Teachers\u27 Digital Innovation Skills in Bisha Province: A Comprehensive Study
This study aims to assess the digital innovation skills of 400 middle school teachers in the Bisha Province and evaluate their significance in the educational process. The survey reveals that instructors exhibit a high level of technological expertise and proficiency, namely in utilising search engines and databases to locate information. Nevertheless, their proficiency in using artificial intelligence applications in school is deficient. In terms of digital security, instructors are competent at generating strong passwords, but they lack understanding of cybercrimes and prevention solutions. Teachers have exceptional communication and cooperation abilities, emphasising ongoing learning and active involvement in professional development programs. In addition to their proficiency in resolving technological issues, they require enhancements in their ability to support students in problem-solving within the e-learning setting. In addition, instructors demonstrate expertise in data analysis abilities, specifically in utilising data to improve their instructional methods. The report also highlights notable disparities depending on gender, speciality, professional hierarchy, and involvement in training programs. In summary, the study emphasises the significance of training and professional development programs in improving teachers\u27 digital innovation skills and enhancing the quality of education
Discovery and Description of a Novel Mode of Oviposition in the Mosquito Genus Culex
Despite the wide variation in mosquito reproductive strategies and the present lack of behavioral and ecological information for most described mosquito species, the predominant egg-laying behaviors observed in well-studied species have led to sweeping generalizations of oviposition patterns across entire mosquito genera. Mosquitoes in the genus Culex, which contains over 800 species across 28 subgenera, are commonly believed to exclusively lay egg masses (“rafts”) that float on the water surface. This oversimplification persists though little is currently known regarding the reproduction of many Culex species and subgenera. Using field observations, photography, and video recordings, the oviposition behavior of a Culex subgenus Micraedes species, Culex antillummagnorum (Dyar), was documented. The results reported here provide the first evidence of a Culex species aerially and skip-ovipositing, rather than laying masses of coniform eggs. Gravid Cx. antillummagnorum females were observed and filmed in the Luquillo Experimental Forest of Puerto Rico for several nights as they performed an elliptic flight pattern while launching single eggs into water-filled bracts of Heliconia caribaea. These findings raise questions regarding the evolution and drivers of such an atypical Culexbehavior and indicate that our understanding of Culex mosquitoes’ ecology and behavior remains incomplete

Analyzing Teachers\u27 Perceptions of Mobile Learning in Senior Secondary Schools: A FRAME Model Perspective in Sub-Saharan Africa
The paper focuses on a systematic review of existing literature regarding the teachers’ perceptions toward mobile learning (mLearning) in public secondary schools across sub-Saharan Africa. It emphasizes that this research synthesizes previously published work rather than presenting original findings. The review identifies significant challenges and opportunities associated with mLearning implementation, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has accelerated the adoption of mobile technologies in education. Despite the growing body of literature on mLearning trends in sub-Saharan Africa, there remains a notable lack of systematic reviews specifically addressing stakeholder perceptions. This study aims to fill that gap by providing evidence-based insights into the role of mLearning and its potential to shape emerging pedagogical practices. In summary, this research is pivotal for understanding how teachers perceive mLearning, thus offering a foundation for future studies and policy formulations aimed at enhancing educational practices through technology in sub-Saharan Africa
