Romania’s foreign trade with the European Union in 2008
Get PDFIn this study, I proposed to analyze the spatial concentration of international trade flows between Romania and the European Union both overall and by the sections of the Combined Nomenclature. Using statistical analysis methods such as square and Gini’s index or Onicescu informational energy, I concluded that Romania’s main trade partners are Italy, Germany and France and trade relations with these 3 countries are characterized by exchanges of good to cover, generally a wide range of products

The Impact of the European Integration Process on the Banking System – an Overview
Get PDFIn the last decade the European integration process was the main focuses of the European Union, as its completion could bring a huge step toward a fully integrated European Union. As the banking sector is the main channel for funding of the European economy, it has become now more clearly than ever that is integration is of the up more essence. The aim of this paper is to quantify the progresses registered by the main European Union’s economies in the process of banking integration, as their example is generally followed by the other member states. First we underline the necessity of the European integration and the progress made using an extended literature review doublet by an analysis of the main indicators for the banking systems of these countries. We also present, in a non-exhaustive way, the main trends that have characterised the banking sectors of these countries in the last decade: diversification, vertical product differential and consolidation underlying their impact on the sectors architecture

The quantic progress that people all over the world are waiting for, seems to have met the totally unprepared educational system. The globalization which has led to the increase of interdependence between economic and social systems makes this problem become a worldwide one and consequently, need a global solution. While the USA is looking for the „perfect” teacher and the „ideal” school, Europe is still trying to find methods for making the educational system more efficient. A contradiction rises therefore, between the role of school in society that is to form mature personalities, meant to contribute to the economic increase and, implicitly, to the development of society, and the decrease in importance of this activity to the level of any economic activity. The text aims at verifying the hypothesis according to which management immunodeficiency from the preuniversity organizations has the most powerful influence on the increase of crisis within the educational system. How was school plagued by this immuodeficiency? To what extent did the management of these institutions contribute to this? Can the efficient decision constitute a remedy in this situation? These are questions that we ought to address to ourselves, even if we are not be able tofind the best solution
The importance of knowledge on the evaluation criteria in university scientific research projects

A learning process based on engendering knowledge is much more valuable and competitive than a learning process which is reduced to a mere transfer of knowledge from the teacher to the students. The important universities consider that “the development of scientific research as a fundamental competence is essential for survival in a more and more competitive environment on global level and that is why, research should be part of the university mission”1. This study aims to highlight how important it is for the university members to be aware of the evaluation criteria for the research projects they undertake. For this purpose, I have interviewed a number of 55 persons, project managers and team members in the projects from the “Research for Excellency” program and the National Plan of Research, Development and Innovation PN II 2007 – 2013. Out of the evaluation criteria for research, the most important ones were considered to be the scientific quality of the project and the quality of the human resources involved in the project
