STATISTICAL MODELS OF REPRESENTING INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL
This article entitled Statistical Models of Representing Intellectual Capital approaches and analyses the concept of intellectual capital, as well as the main models which can support enterprisers/managers in evaluating and quantifying the advantages of intellectual capital. Most authors examine intellectual capital from a static perspective and focus on the development of its various evaluation models. In this chapter we surveyed the classical static models: Sveiby, Edvisson, Balanced Scorecard, as well as the canonical model of intellectual capital. Among the group of static models for evaluating organisational intellectual capital the canonical model stands out. This model enables the structuring of organisational intellectual capital in: human capital, structural capital and relational capital. Although the model is widely spread, it is a static one and can thus create a series of errors in the process of evaluation, because all the three entities mentioned above are not independent from the viewpoint of their contents, as any logic of structuring complex entities requires

As in the secondary legislation that is specific to AIF / AIFM it is not proposed and described a standard method of risk management and it is not stipulated a set exposure limits, it was decided to develop a model for risk management in accordance with the requirements of AIFM legislation by applying the principles stipulated in the banking norms
STOCK MARKET PERFORMANCE AND THE AUGMENTATION OF FRONTIER ECONOMIES: A Comparative Scrutiny of Nigeria & Mauritius
This paper provides a comparative analysis on stock market performance and augmentation of frontier economies: Nigeria and Mauritius. Using a Paired-Samples T-test statistical modus-operandi, data of Market Capitalization and Gross Domestic Product were obtained from the Central Bank of Nigeria Statistical Bulletin and Annual Financial Services Commission Statistical Bulletin of Mauritius during 2006-2010. The findings revealed that stock market performance for Mauritius was superior to Nigeria and same for GDP. In addition, the negativity shows that stock market performance has a negative impact on economic progress in Nigeria and Mauritius. This may be due to the fact that frontier markets give attention to money market while relegating stock market to the background. On this note, since stock market contributes significantly to economic growth, efforts by both governments should be that of developing policies aimed at further strengthening stock market. These policies should not be ‘written-policies’ but policies that can be put into practice. Also, market capitalization can be stimulated by encouraging investments in stock market. This can be done by ensuring investors are fail-safe of their investments. When investors perceive a safety of their investment, they may want to commit their resources and in turn make the economy to flourish

THE INFLUENCE OF RETAIL STORE IMAGE AND INDIVIDUAL FACTORS ON CONSUMER BUYING DECISIONS
In this article is examined the relationship between store image, individual factors and consumer purchase behavior. First link is made between consumer attitudes and his buying decisions. Second, the relationship between store image and consumer purchase behavior is mediated by attributes of retailer that include merchandising, store atmosphere, in-store service, accessibility, reputation, promotion, facilities and post-transaction service. This article is a theoretical approach on what is known about how people decide whether or not to buy something and then how they decide which item or items to buy and what retailer is the best choice. In the process of doing this, we will discover that the process of making a buying decision is not nearly as simply as it may seem. A good understanding about how consumers make buying decisions is very important in developing effective marketing plans. Marketers can change the design of the store interior, aisle layout, carpet and wall textures, scents, colors, shapes, and sounds experienced by the customers. Thus store image is a result of many variables which can be manipulated by the retailer to influence consumer mood and, subsequently, the buyer\u27s behavior
THE ALGERIAN ECONOMY GOVERNED BY BLACK CORRUPTION: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY FROM 2002 TO 2015
The main objective of this paper is to highlight the concept of corruption and analyses our cumulative knowledge about corruption’s effects on the economic growth in Algeria during the period 2002–2015. This article emphasizes the major source of corruption and how the quality of institutions and government policies could mitigate the risk of corruption or increase it. The findings also show the great role of free media in most developing countries which created a new tendency to talk about the effects of corruption especially in recent years. Using a multiple regression model, we find that a 1% decrease in the corruption index CPI level increases the GDP growth rate by approximately 2,005%. The analysis also revealed that there is a negative relationship between the country rank and the economic growth. Finally, the results suggest that more economic freedom, social and political stability lead to less corruption
