Comparative study between techniques for the diagnosis of American foulbrood (paenibacillus larvae) in honeybee colony
American foulbrood is a bacterial disease caused by the Gram-positive bacterium Paenibacillus larvae and is the most dangerous disease of the honeybee. The objective of this study is to compare the methods of detection of this bacterium in different products and samples from the hive. The samples of honey bees, wax, pollen and debris were taken from the hive during Spring period of 2013. Different microbiological methods were used for detection of the bacteria. MYPGP the culture medium is used during all the identifications of the bacterium. The results show that the diagnosis of the disease is more effective in samples of honey and bees than the detection of the bacteria in the wax, pollen and debris from the hive. Even in the absence of symptoms of the disease, the bacteria can be detected in honey or bee
Quasi-static mechanical characterization and fatigue of a composite laminates
This present work focuses on the quasi- static mechanical characterization and or fatigue of a composite materials
(laminate) jute/polyester manufactured under vacuum and with stacking sequences of 0/ 90. The obtained results of
tensile tests on the laminate, showed a similar behavior on two levels: a linear portion up to 20 MPa and a
nonlinear portion to rupture at 47 MPa σ max , followed by elongation of 2.08 % with a break elongation up to
2.50 %. Also, it was noted that increasing the temperature of the samples (5-6 ° C ) when the fatigue test remains
in ISO 13003 , which requires a temperature increase of less than 10 ° C. the results of fatigue test showed also that
with a loading of 50% of the maximum load reached more than one million cycle, the more load is increasing the
cycle numbers of decrease
Establishment of a methodology for eco-innovation based on inventive principle
Today, in the context of product innovation, the environmental dimension takes a new dimension and can not
be separated from other product requirements which make it competitive. Tools are available but unfortunately
proficiency levels required for their use are at the expert’s level. In the present work we have adopted an approach using a
qualitative evaluation matrix including parameters related to the ease of use of the product related to the organizational
preparation for the appropriation of an eco-design approach, in addition to the standard factors of eco-efficiency. In order
to help the designer to make a decision, an adapted TRIZ method is proposed (Téoria Rechénia Izobrétatelskikh Zadatch
or theory of inventive problem solving). The applicability of this method is justified by the many contradictions in the
choices in a study of the life cycle and can help designers and companies to choose an approach to attain a satisfying level
of eco-design for the resources invested in it. An application, based on inventive principles, will be adapted and
completed.This matrix can help the designer to reduce the scope of his creative investigations. The results of our
methodological approach have been tested on cases of creative projects and a certain number of recently patented
project
