Current State and Expansion of Community and Cultural Exchange in Developing Countries through the International Affairs Section of the Training Center : A study of the Educational Significance of International Exchange Projects
publisher青森市国立情報学研究所の「学術雑誌公開支援事業」により電子化されました。This study aims to review the community exchange projects in developing countries conducted by the International Affairs Section of the Training Center, and to discover our current/potential capabilities surrounding international exchange development and expansion. Students tend to have a strong desire to study abroad and hope to be supported by their parents, teachers and staff. Therefore, we need to create more opportunities to provide students with information about studying abroad and encourage them to do so. Furthermore, the need to integrate the students' understanding of different thinking styles and methods, which they develop through their international experience, in ways which improve their professional skills became evident. This study makes us continue to consider the advantages of future international cooperation during students' developmental years, seeing that, at this stage in life, students are more able to develop strong minds to overcome various problems via the difficulties they experience overseas. Additionally, study abroad experiences give students the chance to think about what qualities are important for Japanese to become more internationally minded. We outline our endeavor to manage and implement international projects from an educational perspective

The History of Nursing Education in Aomori Prefecture (Part 2) : Characteristics and Problems of Two-year Course for Nursing Education Curriculum
publisher青森市国立情報学研究所の「学術雑誌公開支援事業」により電子化されました。Characteristics and problems of two-year course for nursing education curriculum in Aomori Prefecture were analyzed with the objective of revealing their roles and issues by interviewing a group of full-time teachers and reviewing the school regulations of five nursing schools in Aomori. Of these five schools located in five different cities, three are run by municipalities, one by the regional medical association, and one by a hospital. Four of the five schools offer night classes, one offers a full-time program, and none are technical schools. The schools were established between 1966 and 1972. Since that time, the capacity for each grade level has remained unchanged for one school, decreased for another, and increased for the other three, with a total number of 190 students enrolled in each grade level at the five schools in 2006. The main objective for establishing these schools was to set up advanced nursing programs for junior nurses in order to enhance the level of regional medicine. Moreover, the regional medical association had also requested that such schools be established. The educational curriculum abides by specific rules and more than two-thirds of the students graduating from these schools are employed locally. More than 40 years have passed since these schools were established and while teachers are experiencing some difficulty in education due to the diverse backgrounds of students in recent years, schools providing a two-year nursing education curriculum will remain necessary as long as the junior nurse system exists

The Development Process of "Ideal Social Security" Design in Early Occupied Japan
publisher青森市国立情報学研究所の「学術雑誌公開支援事業」により電子化されました。This report spreads over the after the war consecutive opinions before the war, and there is it for the purpose of proving the following hypotheses. In Japan just after the defeat, the time of the social security system reform rose. The, so to speak, ideal system design elaborated a plan in that was not realized after all. The reason is because a social security system paradigm formed for period was inherent in this design in itself before the war. At first I summarize grounds of after the war consecutive opinions before the war. And I follow the development process of the "ideal social security system" design, and consider the reason that did not reach the system formation that it is innovative. The New Deal left in GHQ supported the design, but realization was blocked by the political situation, economic conditions and a social turn of eventss. Not only it but also, because latent in this design in itself before the war for period, I did not become the different system design at all before the war. A factor to be inherent in not only the outside factor but also it of the designdid the conclusion of new system in difficulty. A social security system design to be based on a conventional paradigm in 1950 was proposed after all. Without paradigm switch, a system continues to date
