One hundred fifty thousand acres of the old Spanish land grant have become Camp Joseph H. Pendleton, the largest Marine Training Center in the Nation."

No full textOn back: [postcard information] "Located at Thirtieth Street and White River, a training station for Indiana naval reserves, cost 500,000. The drill hall, 20,000 square feet, has a gun turret, bridge and balcony. Each wall is adorned with a mural painting depicting an American naval Battle scene. Names of American naval heroes are carved on the front, rear and sides of the building."
