Trees from which they are sawed are frequently 200 to 300 feet high." [handwritten] "Dear Miss Spillman, Just arrived in Seattle today. We will go North within a few days. Tell the girls 'howdy.' This place isn't bad. Will write again from Alaska. Just, Curtis" Postmarked November 10, 1942.
