Francis Farm
No full textThe Francis Farm, located at Johns Creek, was a working farm used by the college. It was later mined for coal and then sold. This image lists the date as 1944, but that could be the date that it became part of the college. Ethel Love Beem began work as head of the business department for Pikeville Junior College in 1943. After the school became a four-year college, she became secretary to the president, and served under four college presidents. These images were donated to the college by the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary
