    Inside: "Sunday Aft. Dear Miss Spilman, I am keeping my promise, if belatedly. My address is subject to change most anytime & it does frequently. I didn't get to see Lt. Hambley before I left Mayo. At the time your letter came we were in an uproar about leaving. I'm sure he was the same one though. By the way I forgot to tell you - I am an old married lady been married since the 20th of January. My married name is Fisher, to the army I'm still Schmidt though. The weather here is beautiful but hot. The flowers are all in bloom - Columbia is about 6 miles from here & a lovely old city - They have delicious food too as well as beautiful scenery."
