Maynard Chime
No full textThe Maynard Chime in Trinity Episcopal Church has a chime of nine bells. It was installed in 1875. The bells were cast by the Jones Bell Foundry (Troy, New York, US). All nine of those bells remain in use. In 1923, one bell, cast by Melvin C. Corbett, was added to the chime. In 1973, that bell was removed and it now hangs on a movable dolly
Burnside Carillon
No full textThe Burnside Carillon at Furman University is a non-traditional carillon of 48 bells. The carillon was installed in 1966 with 60 bells (two octaves of trebles) that were cast by the van Bergen Bell Foundry (Heiligerlee, NL). Thirty-five of those bells remain. In 2004-2004, 24 bells (the doubles) were replaced with one octave (12 bells) of new bells cast by Les Fils de Georges Paccard (Annecy, FR)

In 1986, the instrument was enlarged to 23 bells with the addition of 11 bells cast by Les Fils de Georges Paccard. In 1999, the carillon was enlarged to 48 bells with the addition of 25 bells cast by Les Fils de Georges Paccard. The van Bergen Bell Foundry (Charleston, South Carolina, US) did the installation

The carillon was started in 1954 with 35 bells cast by the Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry (Aarle-Rixtel, Holland, NL). In 1998, the carillon was enlarged to 43 bells by Meeks, Watson, and Company (Georgetown, Ohio, US). In 1999, three treble bells cast by Meeks, Watson, and Company and two bass bells cast by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry (London, England, GB) were added to the carillon

No full textThe Halifax Explosion Memorial Bell Tower in the Fort Needham Memorial Park houses an electric-keyboard chime of 14 bells. The chime was originally installed in 1921 in a tower in the Grove Memorial Church. It had 10 bells that were cast by the Meneely Bell Foundry (Troy, New York, US). Around 1974, the bells were removed from the church tower due to structural problems. In 1985, a tower was built in Fort Needham Memorial Park to house the chime. Four bells (foundry not identified) were added in 1990. The chime can be operated from the tower base or from the nearby United Memorial Church
