Henry D. Schneider Memorial Carillon
No full textThe Henry D. Schneider Memorial Carillon was first located in the Trinity Reformed Church (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US) from 1930 to 1968. It was installed in 1930 with 25 bells that were cast by the Meneely Bell Foundry (Watervliet, New York, US). In 1955, it was enlarged to 37 bells by the Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry (Aarle-Rixtel, Holland, NL). In September 1968, the carillon was removed from the Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, US)
location and taken to the I. T. Verdin Company (Cincinnati, Ohio, US) for renovations and for temporary storage. It was reinstalled in 1969 at the Holland (Pennsylvania, US) location. In 1976, the carillon was enlarged to its current size (49 bells) with bells that were cast by the Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry. The I. T. Verdin Company enlarged the console. In 2000, Meeks, Watson, and Company (Georgetown, Ohio, US) completed major
renovations on the carillon including installing a new keyboard and action
