No full textThe Trinity Singing Tower at the Trinity United Methodist Church houses a traditional carillon of 48 bells. The carillon was installed in 1928 and the bells were cast by the John Taylor Bell Foundry (Loughborough, England, GB). The carillon originally had one octave of doubled trebles (a total of 60 bells), all the doubles were disconnected by 1948, but the bells remain in the frame. The original Aeolian electro-pneumatic player system is also disconnected

In 1952, the instrument was enlarged to 47 bells with 39 new bells cast by the Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry (Aarle-Rixtel, Holland, NL). An American standard console was installed in 1976. The instrument was enlarged in 2015 with bells cast by the John Taylor Bell Foundry (Loughborough, England, GB). The bells were removed for cleaning and re-toning in 2015. The 48th bell was cast for Meeks, Watson, and Company (Georgetown, Ohio, US) by the John Taylor Bell Foundry and installed in 2015

No full textThe carillon in the John W. Beaumont Memorial Tower at Michigan State University is a traditional carillon of 49 bells. The instrument started in 1928 with 10 bells that were cast by the Gillett and Johnston Bell Foundry (Croydon, England, GB). Ten of those bells remain. In 1930, it was enlarged to 13 bells by the Gillett and Johnston Bell Foundry. Three of those bells remain. In 1935, the instrument was enlarged to 23 bells by the Gillett and Johnston Bell Foundry. All ten of those bells remain. In 1950, the carillon was enlarged to 37 bells by the Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry (Aarle-Rixtel, Holland, NL). None of the bells from that work remain. In 1952, the carillon was enlarged to 43 bells by the Petit and Fritsen Bell Foundry. None of those bells remain. In 1957, the carillon was enlarged to 47 bells by the Gillett and Johnston Bell Foundry. Those four bells remain. In 1996, the carillon was enlarged with 22 bells that were cast by the Royal Eijsbouts Bell Foundry (Asten, Holland, NL)
