Seminole Festival (March 1939)
Photograph taken at the Seminole Festival held in March 1939 at the Mountain Lake Sanctuary and Singing Tower (now known as Bok Tower Gardens). Likely David Stabler's wife, Catherine, and two children, Helen and David, as well as two unidentified members of their party and two unidentified members of the Seminole Nation.
The Seminole Festival was said to be celebrating the "Feast of the Rising Sun," however, the origins of this festival are unclear and it is important to note that this is not an event that is currently celebrated for a public audience by the Seminole Tribe
