The National Peace Carillon
Pamphlet for the National Peace Carillon, a proposed project to build a carillon in Washington, DC to commemorate World War I (WWI). A three hundred and fifty (350) foot tower was designed by architect Paul Cret and would house a 54-bell carillon, including a "Bell of the Allies" and one bell for each State in the union. The project was spearheaded by the National Carillon Association and approved by the General Federation of Women's Clubs, but was never completed
