Couple Alfonso and Irma Quintana stand in the dining room of one of their restaurants, Cafe Havana. They owned three locations, two of which were renamed to Tia Oli's. Cafe Havana was located at 6320 15th St. E. Alfonso won the Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1997. Cafe Havana moved to 1440 63rd Ave. E in 2005 and ownership of the restaurant passed to their second son Ricardo. Construction Workers at City Centre
City Centre opens to the public as construction crews put the finishing touches on the exterior of the building. The 109,000 square foot complex cost $9.1 million dollars and was built to house Bradenton City Hall and police headquarters. A dedication and grand opening ceremony was held in the building's municipal auditorium on November 1, 1998
