The restaurant was part of a larger Florida chain of Clock restaurants and this location opened in the early 1990s. The restaurant reopened from the fire in 2001 after a renovation and a rename to the Clock Family Restaurant. After the Clock Restaurant closed in 2002, a series of restaurants inhabited the building. It has been home for several years to H&R Block offices
