Bakery Building on Old Main Street
No full textA view of Old Main Street from the corner of 4th Ave W and 12th Street West (Old Main Street). The 1900 Bakery Building sits on the left at the northwest corner. Old Main Street was barricaded for construction from May to October 2000 with the Get Down Downtown Festival and grand reopening occurring on October 26, 2000. Utility work was done under Old Main Street, the streets and sidewalks were re-paved with asphalt and brick, and new street lights were put in, similar to the ones on Barcarrota Boulevard. The Bakery Building (320 12th St W) is now home to Paddywagon Irish Pub
Jennings Arcade Building and Fav's Italian Cucina
No full textThis image depicts the exterior of the 1926 Jennings Arcade at 417 12th St W in downtown Bradenton. Fav's Italian Cucina can be seen on the first floor of the building at the right. Perrine Plaza was located approximately where Jennings Arcade is today on Bradenton's Main Street, north of Manatee Avenue West. Originally built by F.M. and C.W. Jennings, the upper level contained offices and stores. The interior is an example of a Mediterranean Revival Arcade complete with original light fixtures suspended by wrought iron chains and wrought iron grill work in the center of the building
