1962 Millage Campaign
Millage election of October 1961 helped to establish Schoolcraft College which was formed by the voters from the Livonia, Plymouth-Canton, Garden City and Clarenceville school districts. Donation
First Gifts- Community College Trustee L. Clarke Oldenburg, left and Charles B. Kirkpatrick, center present scholarship fund checks for 200 from Dr. and Mrs. Charles W. Sellers and $100 from the Garden City Education Association. The money was held in a savings account to pay tuition for two Garden City youths
