Resident’s Satisfaction and Preferences in Housing Provision by Government and Private Partnership in Abuja
This study came when the need for shelter by man has always been an issue for both the person in need of a house and the people in charge of supplying or designing the house. It is widely known the demand for housing came in second in the hierarchical system of man's needs after meals. This study examined residents' satisfaction and preferences in Abuja's housing provision by the government and public-private partnerships. Participants were given questionnaires at the Public Estate, of which 36 were recovered; 300 questionnaires were served at the Public Estate, with 227 recovered. Participants in this study are tenants in both the Public Partnership Estate and the Private Partnership Estate. According to the findings, 30 housing estates in the Ministerial Housing Estate (Public) in Abuja (PPP). Residents' preferences in the study areas are preferred, according to the respondents. The difference between residents' satisfaction and preferences in the houses provided by the government and PPP in the study area was also ascertained using a T-test analysis. The ANOVA results also revealed a significant difference in residence satisfaction between public housing estates and PPP at 0.06 and 0.011, less than the 0.05 significance level. Developers in the public and private housing sectors should work to bridge the gap between residents' preferences and their own. They should improve the drainage systems, waste management, and sewage disposal to increase resident satisfaction. According to the survey results, respondents' satisfaction and preference for residents are very high, high, and moderate, respectively
Development of Vanilla Agribusiness and Its Export Opportunities To Support Triple Export Program (Gratitude) on Lombok Island
Vanilla is one of the agricultural export commodities that has a very high economic value. Vanilla is one of the plantation crop commodities directed to the Gratitude program or the Export Triple Movement initiated by Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Limpo in 2020, which is targeted for five years to unite the strength of all stakeholders of agricultural development.Based on the explanation of export opportunities to support the triple export program, it can be seen from management's flow and quality standards. Vanilla in Indonesia has quite a good potential and supports improvements in economic, social and cultural development. This can be seen from the increasing demand from several countries for quality and the quantity of vanilla in Indonesia yearly. And efforts to strengthen value-added vanilla exports by diversifying export products by not relying on raw materials and downstreaming vanilla processed products. The types, quantity and quality of non-oil and gas export commodities will continue to be improved. The increasingly fierce competition in foreign trade requires every country to increase the quantity and quality of its products

Historical-Comparative Linguistic Analysis of the Reduction Principle in Prose Texts
Critical scientific issues emerge when reduction principles in the language are refined from the point of view of history and modernity. Sounds and morphological indicators do not just blindly and usually combine in the composition of words. The fact that sounds and suffixes come into contact with each other and connect in terms is a legitimate linguistic phenomenon. It is the product of many years, the specific history of which is unknown. Just as words and word combinations are the main factors for the organization of the sentence, the sentence is the main factor in the organization of the text, and they perform communicative functions in the language. When we approach words and suffixes from many linguistic categories from the prisms of historicity and modernity, the inclination to the principle of reduction as a result of historical development in the context of those words and suffixes manifests itself. It determines the dynamic character of the evolutionary process. Azerbaijanis' restoration of the omitted sound or morphological indicator in the term can be determined through its position in the word structure. It can be revealed with the help of the situation and stylistic point that determines this position. There is a long historical process of development at the basis of the tendency to reduction, and this process of growth shows that the language is more inclined toward clarity and simplicity, which are explained in the article
Role of Newspaper in Political Mobilisation in Nigeria
This study investigated the role of newspapers in political mobilisation in Nigeria using Enugu South as a case study. The author seeks to discover how newspaper publications influence readers’ thoughts and actions regarding political participation. The study is premised on the basic assumptions of the Agenda Setting Theory. A descriptive survey design was adopted to elicit information using a questionnaire as the instrument for data collection. Findings from the study reveal that newspaper content can influence locals to participate in politics and elections. Results also show that newspapers publish content related to politics and elections daily, and such publications shape readers’ attitudes regarding politics. Hence, the study concludes that the newspaper is critical in building a sustainable democracy through advocating for political participation. Moreover, a majority of respondents in this study believe that newspapers shape their attitudes toward political participation. Therefore, this study recommends that the government mandate newspaper organisations to present detailed publications regarding elections and politics in the buildup to an election which will help citizens understand their importance and role in electioneering. Political parties should use newspapers for campaign participation in elections rather than the newspapers to propagate their candidate alone, which will help citizens be aware of their importance in the political process
The Effect of Problem-Based Learning Strategies and Direct Learning Strategies on Students' Fiqh Learning Outcomes
This study aims to determine whether there is a positive influence on the use of problem-based learning strategies and the use of direct learning strategies on Fiqh learning outcomes for MA Palapa Nusantara students. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with an experimental research approach with Quasi-Experimental Design research methods. Data collection techniques in the study used tests, observations, and documentation. In the Experiment class, teachers' teaching activities are in the Good and Very Good categories, and the value of student learning activities is 90.2%. While in the Control class, the value of teacher teaching activities is in the Good and Very Good category, and the importance of student learning activities is 80.8%. The prerequisite test shows that the data is typically distributed and homogeneous. It is concluded that using Problem Based Learning strategies can significantly improve achievement or learning outcomes. In contrast, direct learning strategies cannot substantially improve learning achievement or outcomes
The Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Behaviour Towards, and Intention to Use Mobile Compilers in Learning Computer Programming
Using mobile learning in different learning institutions provides a lot of possibilities and opportunities for improving the quality of instruction delivered to every student. The concept of Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) is one of the trends which learning institutions are adopting to provide more opportunities for students to learn and collaborate. The use of mobile compilers can be adopted as a technology integrated into the teaching and learning process. This study sought to comprehend information technology students' perceptions of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) constructs, which include perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward, and intention to use mobile compilers, at a higher learning institution in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. A descriptive-correlational design was used. The findings revealed that the respondents generally accepted portable compilers in learning computer programming. A significant difference was found between males and females regarding the technology's ease. Other variables showed no significant difference. Based on the findings, recommendations were made by the researchers
Finite Element Analysis of Continuous Plates Using a High-Performance Programming Language (MATLAB)
This paper uses MATLAB, a finite element software program to compare the results of several finite analysis methods for continuous plates and check the degree of correlation with the exact values obtained by Timoshenko (1959) and Cheung (1996). The results showed little or no significant difference between plates in finite elements. Two different finite Numerical techniques are used. The Finite Strip and Exact methods and their results are compared to the results from the MATLAB program. Finite element analysis (FEA) workflow using MATLAB includes generation of meshes, geometry creation, defining physics of load, initial conditions and boundary problems, calculation, and results from visualization. FEA is a very general approach for solving Equations in science and engineering. This work offers solutions to the increasing errors associated with several other numerical methods when solving any equations of plates (сontinuous). It makes it easier to calculate and design larger structures through geometry discretization of plates and plains into more minor elements
Problems Using the Anonymous Witness
The article examines the procedural issues of using anonymous witnesses in national legislation and international Law. The study aims to improve the scientific and practical foundations for using anonymous witnesses. The countries' legislation allows exceptions from the direct examination of evidence in court, and anonymous witnesses should also be attributed to these exceptions, fulfilling specific requirements defined in the case law of the ECHR.The term “pseudonym” should be enshrined in the CPC governing the participation of an anonymous witness in criminal proceedings. A pseudonym must meet the requirements of anonymisation and exclusion of identification and be distinguished by reliability. There may be cases when a pseudonym is chosen by a witness who, when selecting, cannot subconsciously choose a surname and letters that he often used, which increases the risk of recognising the witness.During the trial, anonymous witnesses are usually located in a particular room for witnesses under a pseudonym. They remain invisible to the participants in the process but also to the court. This circumstance deprives the court of verifying the voluntariness of testimony and the absence of pressure on the witness. Various ways induce a witness to perjury and give the necessary testimony. Anonymising a witness may also arise after they have given evidence in the usual manner. Laws that allow anonymous witnesses do not consider the court's right to verify the testimony's circumstances, the voluntariness of the testimony and the absence of pressure on the witness. Classifying witnesses is regulated mainly by subordinate acts for official use. The method of classifying witnesses should be held by a particular law or supplemented by the CCP governing the use of anonymous witnesses. The court should have the right to check the voluntariness of testimony and the absence of pressure on a witness to give false testimony
Measuring the Impact of Bank Deposit Mobilisation on the Growth of the Nigerian Economy
This study explores the effects of bank deposits on Nigeria's economic growth for the period 1985 to 2020. The specific objectives are to establish the impact of commercial and merchant bank deposits on Nigeria's economic growth. The ex-post facto research design was employed. We carried out preliminary tests (unit root and descriptive) and diagnostic tests (autocorrelation, heteroscedastic, normality, CUSUM, etc.). Estimation was done with the autoregressive distributed lag model technique. It was found that bank deposits had a long-run relationship with economic growth and that the error correction term is significant and negatively signed. Thus, we recommended, amongst others, that a substantial share of bank deposits should be directed to the real sectors of the economy like agriculture and manufacturing, as this will act as an economic growth enabler
