Influence of Ethnocentric Billboard Advertising Messages on Product Consumption in Nigeria: A study of Hero Lager
This study takes an empirical dive into the enormous use of ethnic and cultural appeal as an emerging advertising trend in Nigeria, using Ebonyi state and the Hero Lager as case studies. A survey research method was adopted, and a structured questionnaire was used to gather responses from 383 respondents. The purposive sampling method was used to select the respondents who filled out the questionnaire. The study's findings reveal that most Hero Lager consumers are significantly aware of the use of ethnocentrism by the brand in their billboard advertising and agree they patronise the Hero beer brand based on ethnocentricity. This study establishes that ethnocentric billboard advertising messages significantly influence product consumption in Nigeria, especially on the Hero Lager beer brand. As a result of the findings, the researchers recommend that manufacturers should adopt the ethnocentric advertising approach to increase product sales and that since the brand's use of ethnocentric advertising messages has recorded huge success in Ebonyi state – an Igbo-speaking part of Nigeria, they should extend the application of this advertising strategy to other ethnic regions as a way of enhancing brand awareness and ensuring optimal dominance in the Nigerian market
Isolation of Pheophytin A and β-amyrin from Newbouldia laevis (P. Beauv) Leaf Extract
Pulverized leaves samples of Newbouldia laevis were extracted by cold maceration using methanol. The extract was concentrated in vacuo to yield a reddish brown solid of 120.191 g. The crude methanol extract was partitioned into n-hexane 0.1 g, dichloromethane 2.5 g, ethyl acetate 4.6 g, and methanol 10.0 g, fractions via coarse chromatography. Methanol fraction gave the highest yield and was subjected to further purification using repeated column chromatography to yield pure components, namely NLM24 (Rf 0.48), EAc:n-hex:MeOH (4:5:1) and NLM19 (Rf0.47), EAc:n-hex:MeOH, respectively. These pure fractions were subjected to 1H NMR, 13C, COSY, HSQC and HMBC spectroscopy. Pheophytin A and β-amyrin were proposed as the structures of the isolated compounds. Even though the pure fractions were not used for the analgesic activity, the literature reveals that pheophytin A & β-amyrin are potent analgesics

Study of Road Surface Damage due to Rainwater Puddles using the Pavement Condition Index
Damage to the road surface will cause many losses that users can feel directly. One of the factors that influence the damage is waterlogging. In Mataram City, several roads experience inundation and water runoff when it rains, such as Jalan Swasembada Kekalik and Jalan Kesra Raya Perumnas. The impact on road construction is a change in the shape of the road surface layer, which causes road service performance to decline. So, it needs to be analyzed to determine the damage to the pavement structure in several segments, both flooded and not. The method used to carry out road damage analysis is the method (Pavement Condition Index) PCI. Surveying road conditions in the field collected data. The PCI value is obtained after calculating the parameters, namely: density, deduct value (DV), total deduct value (TDV), and corrected deduct value (CDV). The results showed that the types and average values of damage to Jalan Swasembada Kekalik were: subsidence (6.22%), edge cracks (3.22%), vertical downhill road edges (8.22%), patches (4.25 %), holes (1%), grain release (27.33%). The average value of the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for each segment is 36.33%, which is at a lousy level (Poor). In comparison, on Jalan Kesra Raya Perumnas, the PCI value is 82.5%, which is at a reasonable level (Good) evidence that the inundated section has a worse condition than the unflooded section is seen in the Jalan Swasembada Kekalik section, where the inundated area has a poor to poor condition. In contrast, the unflooded team has a very good to perfect condition. For the Jalan Kesra Raya Perumnas section, although in flooded areas, the road conditions are less than those that are not flooded, overall, the roads are in good to perfect condition. By looking at the conditions on each lane, it is necessary to deal damage to several road segments immediately to have a decent performance in serving traffic

Populist Rhetoric in Political Interviews
The article attempts to study a political interview as part of political and ideological media content. The purpose of a political discussion is to explain and promote a specific political ideology. The politician also aims to shape the image of the party he/she represents. The interviewer is a journalist whose task is to monitor the changing roles of communicants. In such an interview, a politician tries to win the initiative. The interviewer strives to ensure that the addressee perceives the discourse of the interviewed politician. The politicians expect that they will be allowed to substantiate their position. The ultimate goal of political interviews is to reach an understanding with the audience on critical issues related to domestic and foreign policy issues. Among the main types of political communication, let us single out political communication, which is carried out by journalists and with the help of journalists. Such communication is also designed for a mass audience. Examples include interviews and analytical articles in the press written by journalists, political scientists or politicians (often with the help of media specialists). In this case, journalists draw the audience's attention to the current issue, suggest ways to solve it, report on the attitude of political organisations and their leaders to it, and help politicians achieve their goals. In this case, journalists draw the audience's attention to the existing problem, propose ways to solve it, report on the attitude of political organisations and their leaders to it, and help politicians achieve their goals. Politically passive citizens perceive political information mainly in the form presented in the media
Wind Power Generation in Sudano-Sahelian Region of Nigeria: a Review
Over a couple of years, the world's energy demand has turned to renewable energy sources due to the menace of global warming, while some African countries still depend on fossil fuels despite their harmful effects. Out of approximately 4 trillion (kWh) of renewable energy that is expected to be generated by the year 2030, wind energy is projected to contribute up to 1.1 trillion (kWh). Wind energy studies will be the centre for future renewable engineering efforts, being one of the most likely economic and affordable alternate energy sources. Furthermore, wind resources analysis has also revealed that the Northern part of Nigeria, which occupies almost all the meteorological locations in the Sudano-Sahelian Ecological Zone, possesses enormous potential for harvesting wind energy. This paper involves a systematic review of relevant literature to identify the outcome of various initiatives of researchers at appraising the prospects of electricity production from wind for sustainable development in the region. It was established that the area is blessed with enormous opportunities for harnessing wind for various applications, having possible average wind speeds reaching as high as 8.70 m/s at 10 m above the ground. The region can adequately utilize wind for power generation if the fundamental challenges facing wind energy utilization are addressed. There is a need to systematically model and simulate the system's feasibility before actual implementation to assist in other managerial and technical decisions. Wind energy integration will immensely contribute to providing lasting solutions to the energy situation in the region and the country at large

The article deals with the interactive relationship between common vocabulary and medical terminology. In recent years, medical terminology, against the background of current global events, has actively begun to move into the common language. With this fact in mind, the study attempts to justify this process from a theoretical point of view. Descriptive-comparative and empirical methods of scientific analysis have been used in the research. It is shown that words become terms in the context of accelerating scientific and technological progress. In recent years, medical terms have been increasingly used in children's literature, resulting in a unique environment for their transition into the common vocabulary.
In the article, the legal aspects of information security in telemedicine in Ukraine are considered from the modern theory of information law based on current Ukrainian legislation and regulations of the European Union. The topic's relevance is due to the need to improve the legislation of Ukraine to provide a comprehensive theoretical justification for enhancing the effectiveness of information security. In the course of the study, the methodology of the systematic, comprehensive analysis of legal phenomena using factor and evolutionary research methods was applied. It is noted that modern information technologies allow doctors to provide remote medical care to monitor patients' health constantly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for remote medical care has increased. It is indicated that telemedicine technologies are used to conduct research and detect diseases based on the automated processing of large amounts of personal and medical data. In the digitalization of medicine, the importance of information security of patients and other subjects of telemedicine activities is growing. The processing of large amounts of personal data on patients' health in information systems increases the risks of privacy violations and requires higher standards of information protection.
