    Get PDF
This research analyzes the moderation of social support as a counterweight to the influence of workload on work stress for functional officials in procuring goods/services at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. The population involved all functional officials for procurement of goods/services of the Ministry of Education and Culture using probability sampling to determine the sample. Data was obtained through questionnaires distributed using Google Forms and interviews without using guidelines. Regression analysis with moderating variables is used to determine the role of moderating variables in strengthening or weakening the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The research results show that the direct influence of workload on work stress is 5.539. The value of the direct effect of social support on work stress is -5.449, and the value of the moderating effect of social support on the influence of workload on work stress is -4.221. Thus, workload has a significant positive effect on work stress, and social support negatively mediates the impact of workload on work stress. The heavier the workload, the higher the work stress experienced, so functional officials feel good about social support for procuring goods/services at the Ministry of Education and Culture because it can reduce stress due to workload

The article examines the theoretical, conceptual and methodological relations between scientific rationality, epistemological concepts and types of epistemology. Several relevant philosophical aspects of classifying epistemology into classical, non-classical and post-non-classical types are analysed. It was highlighted that at the current juncture, there are conceptual approaches to the elements above of scientific knowledge acquisition, justification, rationality, knowledge application, and the criteria for its authenticity. In this context, philosophers argue for developing new epistemological frameworks to facilitate an adequate philosophical comprehension of contemporary scientific knowledge. A variety of ideas have been proposed. In addition, there is a need to clarify terminology.Furthermore, philosophers are engaged in a debate regarding the most appropriate terminology to describe modern epistemology. One such debate concerns the merits of designating modern epistemology as "post-non-classical" or "post-neoclassical" about science. The article demonstrates that in addition to these, the norms, rules, boundaries of scientific understanding, the strategy and methodology of scientific activity, the rationality of scientific knowledge, its justification, the criteria of scientific truth and their search logic have been renewed. Researchers have finally designated this innovation as a post-non-classical (or post-neoclassical) type of scientific understanding. The article analysed whether modern epistemology is correctly described as "post-non-classical" or "post-neoclassical" from a philosophical perspective. The methodological principles of systematicity, non-linearity, intersubjectivity and synergetic formation were selected for the interdisciplinary approach. System analysis and dynamic integration are employed as methodologies. The scientific novelty is that the modern epistemological situation can be described as either "post-non-classical" or "post-neoclassical," which is related to how scientific understanding has evolved historically. In this context, the distinction between the terms is not a matter of differing interpretations of the underlying processes. This represents a distinct articulation of analogous concepts

This study aims to analyze the prosecutor's authority in terminating the prosecution of criminal cases based on restorative justice and the impact of the issuance of Circular Letter Number 01/E/Ejp/02/2022 concerning the Implementation of Termination of Prosecution Based on Restorative Justice. The method used is normative juridical with a statutory approach and legal concepts. Primary legal materials include laws and attorney general regulations, while secondary legal materials consist of legal literature, journals, and related papers. Data analysis was done descriptively qualitatively. This research found that prosecutors have maximum authority as dominus litis in the criminal justice system in Indonesia, which includes prosecution, submission of cases to court, and termination of prosecution based on restorative justice. Article 139 and 140 paragraph (2) of KUHAP regulates the prosecutor's authority to ensure the achievement of legal objectives such as justice, certainty, and legal benefits. Prosecutors are responsible for ensuring that legal objectives can be achieved through the prosecution process. Discontinuation of prosecution based on restorative justice is important when legal objectives cannot be achieved through the submission of cases to court. Humane and conscience-based handling of criminal cases is required, with strict consideration in applying restorative justice according to specified criteria

    Get PDF
Integrating machine learning (ML) with the Internet of Things (IoT) reveals hidden patterns and insights from extensive sensor data, enabling IoT to become omnipresent and make intelligent decisions without explicit programming. ML is essential for IoT to meet the future needs of businesses, governments, and individuals. IoT aims to sense its environment and automate decision-making through intelligent methods, emulating human decisions. This paper reviews and categorises existing literature on ML-enabled IoT from three perspectives: data, applications, and industries. We examine advanced methods and applications by reviewing various sources, emphasising how ML and IoT work together to create more innovative environments. We also discuss emerging trends such as the Internet of Behavior, pandemic management, autonomous vehicles, edge and fog computing, and lightweight deep learning. Furthermore, we identify challenges to IoT in four categories: technological, individual, business, and societal. This paper aims to leverage IoT opportunities and address challenges for a more prosperous and sustainable future

Labour pain management during the first stage of childbirth remains a critical aspect of maternal care. This study explores the effectiveness of audio murotal Al-Qur'an and lavender aromatherapy in alleviating first-stage labour pain, supplemented by disseminating information through booklets, leaflets, and lectures. This study employs a quasi-experimental design with a three-group pre-post-test approach using randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to investigate the efficacy of audio murotal Al-Qur'an and lavender aromatherapy in alleviating first-stage labour pain. The research population comprises expectant mothers in the Ingin Jaya Primary Health Care Area, Ingin Jaya Sub-District, Aceh Besar District. Based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, Purposive sampling yielded a sample size of 75 respondents. Non-parametric tests, including the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks, Mann-Whitney U, and Kruskal-Wallis tests, were employed due to the non-normal distribution of data. The analysis demonstrates a significant reduction in labour pain levels after treatment with audio murotal and lavender aroma using leaflet media. This implies that this approach effectively reduces labour pain. Additionally, combining lavender aromatherapy with Quranic audio murotal proves effective in alleviating first-stage labour pain, despite non-normal data distribution. These findings suggest promising alternatives for enhancing maternal well-being during childbirth

Responsibilities of Land Deed-Making Officials in Making Sale and Purchase Deeds Made Without the Land Owner's Knowledge

    Get PDF
This research aims to analyze legal action against the Deed of Sale and Purchase made by the Land Deed Official (PPAT) without the knowledge of the land owner and the responsibility of the Land Deed Drafting Officer regarding the Sale and Purchase Deed made without the knowledge of the land owner. This research is normative legal research. The approaches used in this research are the statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The study results show that making a Deed of Sale and Purchase without the owner's knowledge can have legal consequences; this means that the deed, as stated in Article 1320 of the Civil Code, can be filed for cancellation due to the subjective and objective conditions of the agreement not being fulfilled. Therefore, Deed of Sale and Purchase No 6657/2004 dated 1 November 2004, issued by Defendant I, is invalid or legally flawed and does not have binding legal force. PPAT's responsibility in making the Deed of Sale and Defendant I, as PPAT, violated the provisions of Article 38 § 1 of Government Regulation 24 of 1997 by purchasing without the owner's knowledge, which is an administrative offence. As a result, Defendant I, acting as PPAT, can face dishonourable dismissal. In civil terms, Defendant I's proven commission of an unlawful act requires PPAT to compensate for losses suffered by the parties. Criminally, PPAT can face accountability if it is proven negligent in checking the identity of the person present and attending to other formal matters. Then, authorities can charge PPAT under Article 266 of the Criminal Code
