No full textThis collection consists of geophysical data, GIS, and CAD vector drawings from a geophysical survey at The Forty and Chelworth Road, Cricklade, Wiltshire. Works were carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd. between December 2023 and January 2024. Evidence of former ridge and furrow cultivation and also a number of weakly positive linear and discrete anomalies was identified; however, they generally lack a coherent morphology and cannot be confidently interpreted. The eastern area (Area 2) contains a number of positive curvilinear anomalies, that could be associated with the former location of animal feeders, but this is not certain

No full textThis collection consists of images, geographic information system and site record data from a Metal Detecting Survey by MOLA Bristol at Sourton Down, Okehampton, Devon, in February 2023. The Metal Detecting Survey produced 59 metal artefacts, 1 non metallic find, and 1 possible Medieval coin. The majority of finds were post-medieval in date and represented by horseshoes and agricultural implements. No musket balls or pieces of lead associated with the Battle of Sourton Down were detected on site. There were no discernible patterns of archaeological activity identified within the data, however, there was a find cluster near the Roman road

The work was carried out by INFRA Archaeology in February 2021.The investigation focused on two areas, C21036 and C21037. While postholes and pits were uncovered, the majority of recorded features consisted of geological variations, tree throws, and root hollows. The identified postholes and pits suggest Bronze Age or Iron Age activity
