No full text昨今の教員不足は、労働環境がブラックであるという文脈で語られがちであるが、たとえば医師は、労働環境は著しくブラックであるが、医学部の人気は未だに続いている。この違いを生んでいるものが、「高度化・専門職化」ではないか。
1990 年代以降、世界の教職は、制度面を含めて高度化した。例えばイタリアのレッジョエミリアの保育では、保育士は「子どもが世界の声を聴く、その声にならない声を聴く」専門家、つまり子どもの世界認識から学ぶ専門家として位置づけられている。このことが保育士の地位向上に劇的な効果を発揮し、収入等も跳ね上がった。日本のように「未熟な存在の面倒をみる仕事」と思われている限り、教職は専門職とはみなされず、待遇も改善されない。
本講演では、現行の制度のもとでも、日本においてどのような、教職の「高度化・専門職化」が可能であるのかを、全国の先行事例などと世界の事例、そして教育学を接続することを通して、参加者で考える機会としたい
