The glass sponge was seen attached to rocks at Mzia-2 (1600 m) and, more frequently, at Pweza-3 (1380 m). The specimens may represent one of several genera within the sub-family Corbitellinae but it is most likely Regadrella sp
Poralia sp.
A large medusa was seen drifting past the ROV just above the seabed during a video transect survey. This is likely to be Poralia sp
