Chasing the China wind: a musical journey
In this documentary, Chen-Yu was to explore the musical memories of Post-90s Generation across Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and the UK. This film presents that the way audiences engage with China Wind music reflects a constant negotiation of Chineseness that takes place in both the creation and consumption of music. In the meantime, popular music helps the post-90s audience creating their identities along the way to discovering and defining ‘selves’ while imagining themselves being or not being Chinese
George Harrison: the story of the Beatles and Indian music
This film was produced for a concert taking place at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall in June 2017. The concert evolved from research that Dr. Mike Jones and Mr. John Ball have been organically working on for years. Through their work, they identified the previously unrecognised Indian musicians recorded on the track ‘Within You Without You’ on The Beatles’ seminal album, Sgt Pepper and Lonely Heart Club Band

Unveiling the Hidden Dangers: Enteropathogens Carried by Flies in Pudong New Area
A total of 3,875 flies were collected from 6,400 placements, resulting in an average fly density of 0.61 flies per cage. Musca M. domestica were the most common species at 39.85%, followed by L. sericata at 16.57% and B. peregrina at 13.14%. Out of 189 samples, 92 tested positive for enteropathogens, with nine different pathogens found. 12.70% of samples exclusively had parasites, a higher percentage than those with only bacteria and viruses. The study discovered that M. domestica had fewer enteropathogens compared to L. sericata and B. peregrina, which mainly carried B. hominis instead of bacteria and viruses like Escherichia coli(E. coli), Astrovirus and Sapovirus. In spring testing, all three fly species showed low rates of detecting enteropathogens. M. domestica were found in residential areas with the highest number of pathogen species, totaling six, whereas the L. sericata and B. peregrina were identified in farmers' markets with the highest number of pathogen species, totaling six and seven, respectively
Psychometric Evaluation of the Chinese Version of the Theory of Mind Inventory for Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder
Abstract
Date Presented 4/1/2017
This study developed a Chinese version of the Theory of Mind Inventory (ToMI–C) for assessing theory of mind (ToM) performance in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in actual social contexts. The ToMI–C will facilitate the evaluation of the ToM of Taiwanese children with ASD accurately.
