No full textI cunei fonoassorbenti hanno la funzione di assorbire fino alle basse frequenze il suono all'interno delle camere anecoiche; l'utilizzo di tali camere per la misura della po-tenza sonora è descritto nella norma UNI EN ISO 3745 [1], ed in essa poche indicazioni sommarie sono fornite sul dimensionamento dei cunei; in funzione della minima fre-quenza operativa della camera (frequenza di taglio), viene indicata una profondità del cuneo pari ad un quarto della lunghezza d'onda ed un coefficiente di assorbimento ad incidenza normale minimo di 0.99.
Nel presente lavoro vengono presi in esame i numerosi parametri che definiscono la geometria dei cunei e ne viene analizzato l'effetto sul comportamento acustico, allo sco-po di minimizzare la profondità del cuneo per una data frequenza di taglio, ed avere quindi, a parità di dimensioni esterne della camera, il massimo volume interno disponi-bile. Lo studio è stato condotto tramite software agli elementi finiti simulando la geo-metria tridimensionale dei cunei all'interno di un tubo ad onde piane virtuale, analizzan-do il coefficiente di assorbimento acustico ad incidenza normale e confrontandolo con l'indicazione fornita dalla norma
