No full textIl dispositivo indica l'intensità dell'azione frenante, misurata attraverso la decelerazione del veicolo, con l'accensione progressiva di una serie di luci di STOP, proporzionale alla decelerazione longitudinale. Il dispositivo si può installare ex novo oppure su veicoli già in circolazione.
La possibilità di indicare ai veicoli che seguono l'intensità dell'azione frenente previene incidenti dovuti a tamponamento.
Il dispositivo utilizza un trasduttore accelerometrico e monta le luci di segnalazione nella stessa posizione della luce posteriore facoltativa (vedi Codice della Strada e Regolamento di attuazione vigenti).

Voter-like Dynamics with Conflicting Preferences on Modular Networks
Get PDFTwo of the main factors shaping an individual’s opinion are social coordination and personal preferences, or personal biases. To understand the role of those and that of the topology of the network of interactions, we study an extension of the voter model proposed by Masuda and Redner (2011), where the agents are divided into two populations with opposite preferences. We consider a modular graph with two communities that reflect the bias assignment, modeling the phenomenon of epistemic bubbles. We analyze the models by approximate analytical methods and by simulations. Depending on the network and the biases’ strengths, the system can either reach a consensus or a polarized state, in which the two populations stabilize to different average opinions. The modular structure generally has the effect of increasing both the degree of polarization and its range in the space of parameters. When the difference in the bias strengths between the populations is large, the success of the very committed group in imposing its preferred opinion onto the other one depends largely on the level of segregation of the latter population, while the dependency on the topological structure of the former is negligible. We compare the simple mean-field approach with the pair approximation and test the goodness of the mean-field predictions on a real network

The device could be mounted on any new or old vehicle. It supply to the vehicles that they follow quantitative information on the vehicular deceleration rate. That difference of the traditional stop light («all or nothing» kind) and has built with more luminous elements to diversified lighting: an only element for low deceleration (the simple accelerator release), all the elements for greatest allowed deceleration.
The vehicle that follow a vehicle on wich the PSVD ha s mounted are informed with wich energy this vehicle is braking. At least, the device allows to the drivers to have the proportionate reactions for real situation

Asymmetric games on networks: mapping to Ising models and bounded rationality
Get PDFWe investigate the dynamics of coordination and consensus in an agent population. Considering agents endowed with bounded rationality, we study asymmetric coordination games using a mapping to random field Ising models. In doing so, we investigate the relationship between group coordination and agent rationality. Analytical calculations and numerical simulations of the proposed model lead to novel insight into opinion dynamics. For instance, we find that bounded rationality and preference intensity can determine a series of possible scenarios with different levels of opinion polarization. To conclude, we deem our investigation opens a new avenue for studying game dynamics through methods of statistical physics
