Tegmina distinctly extending over apex of abdomen, present with several irregular oblique veins on dorsal filed; wings extending to apex of tegmina. All legs rather long. Fore tibia without tympana. Hind tibia very long, with internal apical spurs longer than external ones. Supra-anal plate distinctly narrowed posteriorly, with posterior margin narrowly rounded. Subgenital plate almost trapeziform. Genitalia (Figs. 7–8): epiphallus very long, with developed lateral lobes, which are finely toothed along internal margins; posterior margin of epiphallus distinctly emarginated in middle; endophallus bifurcated at base and pointed at apex. Female (Fig. 6). Pronotum slightly long. Tegmen rather sclerotized, present with 5–6 regular longitudinal veins and many transverse veinlets on dorsal field; lateral field with 3–4 oblique subcostal veins. Ovipositor about half of body length, distinctly curved upwards at apex, with a number of fine teeth on dorsal and lateral margins. Coloration. Body uniformly yellowish brown to light brown, except genae and frontal rostrum partly brown. Veins of tegmen light yellow. Measurements (mm). Male: body 5.9–6.4, pronotum 0.9 –1.0, tegmen 4.3–4.6, hind femur 5.0– 5.4; female: body 6.0– 6.8, pronotum 0.9 –1.0, tegmen 4.4–4.8, hind femur 5.2–6.2, ovipositor, 3.0– 3.2. MAP 1. Distribution map of Amusurgus (Usgmona) Furukawa. Type material. Holotype ♂: CHINA: Fujian, Yunxiao, Zhangjiangkou, Hongshulin, 10.IX. 2014, leg. Li-Cheng Chi. Paratypes: 2 ♀: same data as the holotype; 5 ♂, 7 ♀: 19.IX. 2014, other data same as the holotype. Distribution. China (Fujian). Diagnosis. This new species is related to A. (U.) genji Furukawa, but can be distinguished by the epiphallus very long, with posterior margin distinctly emarginated in middle; endophallus bifurcated at base and pointed at apex. Etymology. The new specific name is derived from Latin ex- (out) + cavare (cave), referring to posterior margin of epiphallus distinctly emarginated in middle.Published as part of Liu, Hao-Yu, Chi, Li-Cheng, Shi, Fu-Ming & Zhou, Han-Tao, 2015, A new species of Amusurgus (Usgmona) Furukawa from China (Orthoptera: Gryllidae: Trigonidiinae), pp. 435-439 in Zootaxa 4013 (3) on pages 436-439, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4013.3.7, http://zenodo.org/record/24547
