No full text4. Coloana hainanensis Yang & Zhang sp. nov. (Fig. 4) Description. Anterior dorsum, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus light brown, gena and lorum sordid pale, crescent patches sordid yellowish. Male 2 S abdominal apodemes (Fig. 4 f) extended to midlength of 4 th sternite. Pygofer dorsal appendage (Fig. 4 a) short and very thin, not reached hind margin of pygofer side, almost with even thickness, straightly directed caudad. Subgenital plate (Fig. 4 b) slightly curved dorsad in lateral view, almost equal in length with style. Style (Fig. 4 c) with apical part slightly bent laterad. Aedeagal shaft (Fig. 4 e) almost equal in thickness from base, apical processes relatively long and broad; dorsal apodeme and preatrium approximately with equal length and width in lateral view. Measurement. length male 4.37mm, female 4.58mm. Material examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Hainan Prov., Mt. Bawang, light trap, 25 v 1983, coll. Zhang Yalin. Paratypes: 4 ♀, same data as holotype. Deposition. Entomological Museum, NWAFU, Yangling, China. Remarks. The new species is similar to C. bifurcata Sohi & Mann, but can be distinguished by the moderately curved aedeagal shaft with the apical process curved downward at a right angle to the shaft, and the smaller dorsal apodeme. Etymology. Male 2 S abdominal apodemes (Fig. 9 k) relatively narrow, exceeding anterior margin of 4 th sternite. Anal tube appendage (Fig. 9 b) short, apex broad and slightly curved ventrad, weekly sclerotized. Pygofer side (Fig. 9 a) short, hind margin truncate, without microsetae at dorso-caudal angle. Subgenital plate (Fig. 9 d) with row of microsetae along dorsal outer margin from near base to apex which sparse distally, with about 5 macrosetae medially. Style (Figs 9 e, f) with inner protrusion shifted basad, apex curved laterad sharply. Connective (Fig. 9g) with manubirum long and narrow. Aedeagal shaft (Fig. 9 h–j) short and broad, without process, apex expanded with dorsal margin straight in caudal view; preatrial process depressed, curved dorsad basally and recurved ventrad apically, apex twisted. Measurement. length male 3.38mm, female 3.40mm. Material examined. Holotype: ♂, China, Hainan Prov., Mt. Bawang, 25 v 1983, light trap, coll. Zhang Yalin. Paratypes: 1 ♂ 8 ♀, same date as holotype. Deposition. Entomological Museum, NWAFU, Yangling, China. Remarks. The new species is similar to S. victoreena Chiang & Knight, but the style has its inner protrusion shifted basad, the manubrium of the connective is longer and narrower, and the aedeagal preatrial process is narrower basally and curved ventrad in lateral view. Etymology.
