Theoretical Analysis of the Strategic Provision of Public Childcare Service Administration by Private and Public Providers
地方公共交通を生かした交流人口拡大施策について
本稿では、第三セクター鉄道がMaaS を活用してインバウンドを含めた観光需要を取り込み、交流人口の拡大につなげることができるのかを長良川鉄道を事例にヒアリング調査ならびにトラベルコスト法による郡上市への観光需要関数の推定に基づき、検討した。分析結果からは、厳しい経営環境下でも長良川鉄道を生かした新たな経営施策を模索中であり、インバウンドや首都圏の観光客など、観光型MaaS に慣れた顧客を取り込むことで交流人口の拡大となり得ることを提案した
保育サービスの供給効率性に関する実証分析
社会状況の変化により保育所サービスへの需要はますます高まっている。そこで、超過需要改善のために経営効率の改善は急務といえる。本稿では、効率性分析の2つの代表的手法を併用するFried et. al (2002)を応用し、保育所サービスの効率性評価と要因分析を試みる。本稿の特徴は、因子分析により保育の質指標を構成した点である。その結果、保育の質の高まりにしたがって非効率性の低下がみられ、理論と整合する結論を実証分析でも得ることができた。Demand for day nursery service is increasing more and more due to the changes of social situation. So, the improvement of management efficiency may be urgently required for excessive demand. In this paper I employ Fried et. al (2002) in which two representative methods of effective analysis are used and make an evaluation of effectiveness and an analysis of factors concerning day nursery service. A characteristic of this paper lies in the constitution of a quality index of childcare, with the result that the inefficiency of childcare decreases as the quality of childcare is improved. A Visualization Method of Residents' Location for Media Spots Estimation
In this research, we aim to visualize activities in a local community for achieving resident-centered community design utilizing information and communication technology (ICT). For that purpose, we introduced a new core concept of “media spots” not only as places where residents could communicate with one another more frequently than in the other areas but also as a prospective platform to mediate relationality between people, “Mono” as tangible and physically perceived things, and “Koto” as intangible and cognitively conceived things. That is, “media spots” should have the potential to proactively promote resident-motivated communications and activities in local community. We have proposed, in this paper, a visualization method for media spots estimation from residents' location information that uses DBSCAN (density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise) for cleaning enormous amount of raw location information data. The present results suggested that representative points extracted by using DBSCAN could visualize activities in a local community more effectively, and estimate media spots more accurately, than the previously used method
