The objective of this research is to examine how profitability in the Cement Industry, which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, is impacted by Working Capital Turnover and Cash Turnover. The study will focus on a sample of five publicly-traded cement companies as its research population. The method of sampling used in this study was purposive, meaning that the selection of the three companies was based on specific criteria. The method of sampling used in this study was purposive, meaning that the selection of the three companies was based on specific criteria. The data used were financial statements of cement industry companies that went public in Indonesia from December 31, 2005 – December 31, 2021. The data was processed using panel data regression. The study's findings indicate that the working capital turnover (WCT) does not have an impact on the return on assets (ROA), whereas the cash turnover (CT) has a significant influence on the return on assets (ROA). The implications of research is that return on assets (ROA) has the potential to be a very important indicator for companies in measuring their financial performance, and can provide significant benefits in improving the company’s financial performance and increasing investor confidence

Development Discourses of HIV/AIDS in Yemen

M.A.This paper is a study of discourses related to HIV/AIDS development programming in Yemen. It is situated within Hakan Seckinelgin's problematization of the global governance of HIV. It analyzes how development workers addressing HIV/AIDS in Yemen conceptualize their approaches and objectives to HIV/AIDS initiatives and situates these amongst alternative discourses, identifications, and interpretations of cultural and religious contexts. The author argues that 1) global HIV/AIDS discourses influence national and local HIV initiatives in ways that transform systems of knowledge, attempt to shape and delimit individuals' behaviors and self-identifications, and mute possibilities for development programs to meet local needs of people living with and affected by HIV; 2) efforts of development workers to situate HIV in Yemen in cultural or religious contexts have potentials to hinder as well as help formulate effective HIV/AIDS programming; and 3) Sheikh Abdul Majid al-Zindani's alternative HIV/AIDS discourse in Yemen is functioning as a bridge between Yemenis' needs and the restricted possibilities of global development efforts

Characterization of correlations of fast-ion H-alpha measurement volumes in Wendelstein 7-X by particle tracking

This paper characterizes the correlation of simultaneous measurements with different fast-ion H-alpha (FIDA) spectroscopy sightlines on Wendelstein 7-X. Using a collisionless guiding-center code, it is shown that, for two investigated volumes in the bulk of the plasma, some regions of phase space are correlated and the magnetic configuration has little influence on this correlation. For the sightlines of the FIDA system, the correlation between these is explained well by the magnetic configuration. Sightlines with measurement volumes at the same spatial locations have the highest correlation, and sightlines with measurement volumes near the same flux surface but on different sides of the magnetic axis have a high correlation. The correlation between the blueshifted signal in the starting sightline and redshifted signal in the detection sightline is investigated, demonstrating that it is possible to investigate any finite interval of detection wavelengths. Due to the different shapes of the weight functions for the toroidal and oblique sightlines, the blue-redshift correlation is very different from the total-spectrum correlation. The correlation between the toroidal and oblique sightline fans is relatively much larger than the internal correlation in the oblique sightlines, which is however, much larger than the internal correlation in the toroidal sightlines. This is a result of the dependence of the weight functions on the angle between the sightline and magnetic field, illustrating how important it is for the FIDA sightlines to cover different angles with the magnetic field.
